Delayed Speed Upgrades
If you opted to take the special offer of a speed upgrade back in November
before we started doing the network restructuring, then firstly we
sincerely apologise for the delay in this being processed and as an
additional gesture of good will, we will also extend this speed upgrade
for your next renewal also, not just until the end of your current
subscription.
We are going to be starting to process these upgrades over the next 7-10
days in priority of the order they were requested.
If you no longer want this upgrade and instead want your £16 refunded,
please confirm by sending an email to customer_services@e7even.com.
Otherwise your upgrad
e will be completed shortly.
If you did not take part in this offer or are a new customer, please note
that you can still take part now that the network restructuring is
complete. Simply click on this link to get the fastest speed your line
can support for the rest of your current contract for just £16.

Hi
Just wanted to say that we had major problems with e7even around xmas/new year. We were completely cut off for about 4 weeks. Eventually we got slow service back.
We were/are on the bbc.uk (or something similar) network. We followed one of the links regarding changing some computer settings. It took a few attempts and playing around, but eventually we got it sorted.
Things are back to normal now, and dare I say working quicker than before.
I know e7even were rotten when it first started, but if you havent already try the link on the website, coz it really worked for us.0 -

But readers will be pleased to know I got a reply to my support ticket (raised 6th Feb) today.
Really useful. Suggested I use username@e7broadband.com as if I haven't beeing trying that possibility every day since I lost the connection. It hasn't worked any day since Feb 6th and guess what ?
It still doesn't connect.
I suppost I'll have to wait for another 43 days before the next helpful installment.
I wonder when the MAC and a refund will arrive. My weight loss following Doktor Dahlqvist' Dietary Program

I have now been without broadband connection for over 24 hours. I am writing this via dialup..... I have tried everything suggested on this forum and on the ADSL forum nothing works. I know everything is working as it should as far as my router etc is concerned as SOMETIMES I can connecy! Its almost as though E7 deliberately disconnects SOME people at different periods.
I am really fed-up and at a loss as to know what to do now. I just cannot afford to pay out to another iSPWhen man sacrifices the Love of POWER for the Power of Love, there will be peace on earth.0 -
Hope you have all visited the BBC Watchdog web site and shared yor grievance with them. It's very QUICK and EASY to do and will take just a minute:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/consumer/tv_and_radio/watchdog/contact_computers.shtml
Click the link above and fill out your details - it will take just a minute. For the text box "BRIEF details of your story" you can use the following text if you have little time (or write it in your own words):
Since December 2005 my broadband connection to e7even has been very poor and often non-existent. The company have blamed this on upgrades and since the beginning of the year have not been responding to any email, postal or telephone correspondence. I am still having problems with my connection and as their 'support' team never get in touch I can neither get the issue resolved or move away to another service. I understand many of their customers are affected by this problem.0 -
OFCOM also have a facility on their web site to leave a comments about E7 as they claim they are currently monitoring the service although they will not handle individual complaints.
But does anyone know if there is a "specific period" by which such companies such as E7 have to send out a MAC once the customer has requested one? Surely they can not just delay and delay...0 -
It seems e7 are taking unauthorised charges from people's card...
Call your credit/debit card company and ask them if there have been any charges by 'GenUK' or for an amount equal to what your monthly subscription fee is.
I know this has been affecting people who pay monthly, don't know about those who paid in advance...0 -
