Me too and I also added another 6 months at a knockdown price and then I've got about 3 months extra free altogether as compensation for all the troubles. I'll be with them forever at this rate. 1a_y_shock1.gif

Do you think we will ever get rid of them as I got 4 months extra free with them for all my troubles?

How did you go about getting a MASSIVE (and more decent) compensation package of four months free internet (as opposed the measly two they are offering as standard)?

I got 2 months for my recent troubles and during the past year I got 2 weeks here and 2 weeks there which totalled another 2 months. Therefore 4 months in total!

    HTH!

ARRRRRGGGGGGHHHHH .... I've been without my connection in evenings for two weeks now .... raised two support tickets, no response .... finally decided to throw in the towel this morning and contacted Customer Service to get migration code .... guess this will take forever!

A couple of days ago they offered me a two month extension to apologise for the overall hassle , but this would seem to be two months without broadband going by the current service!

I didn't get all the problems most experienced during the move to e7broadband.com, but I guess everything comes to he who waits ... ENOUGH IS ENOUGH

I cannot believe it they have charged £15 to my credit card, is there anything I can do to get this money back and to stop them making further charges to my card?

I got a response from e7even regarding the charge they made to my card, can you believe it? I wonder are they going to start responding to emails again, perhaps I am dreaming? Here is what they said

    "Dear Mrs XXXX,

We would like to apologise for the incorrect debit that was recently
acquired from your card. We have already refunded this and are now
investigating what went wrong to ensure that it does not happen again.

    Kind Regards,

    E7even Customer Services"

SURPRISE! SURPRISE! The credit is not showing on my card but I will let yous know when it does, that's if yous want me to of course!

I emailed Watchdog on the 22nd March as yet I have not received a response.
HOWEVER........................ I actually got a reply from e7! I had to pick myself up from the floor I can tell you! They admitted that "a small amount of customers were having difficulty connecting in the evenings and that their engineers were working on it". last night was the FIRST time in 3 months I have been able to connect in the evening yippppppppeeeeeeeeeeeeee Today I received yet another email from e7 saying:

I have been informed by our engineers that the fault causing some connections to drop is being worked on right now and should be resolved later today.

    Kind Regards,

    E7even Technical Support

So............ with a little bit of luck our problems may be over. I am still going to ask for a reasonable amount of compensation as the 2 months offered is an insult as far as I am concerned. I have been without a connection for 3 months now, and have had to use and pay for a dial-up connection.

If a significant number of us complain we should at least get a mention on BBC Watchdog, if not a full report:

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/consumer/tv_and_radio/watchdog/contact_computers.shtml

Click the link above and fill out your details - it will take just a minute. For the text box "BRIEF details of your story" you can use the following text if you have little time (or write it in your own words):

Since December 2005 my broadband connection to e7even has been very poor and often non-existent. The company have blamed this on upgrades and since the beginning of the year have not been responding to any email, postal or telephone correspondence. I am still having problems with my connection and as their 'support' team never get in touch I can neither get the issue resolved or move away to another service. I understand all their customers are affected by this problem.

** FEEL FREE TO POST THIS ON OTHER FORUMS SO WATCHDOG GET LOADS OF THESE AND TAKE ACTION **
say 'yay' if you have done the above :-)
