Comments
-
Today my plan is as follows:
- Take DS to school - Done
- Wait for gutter men to sort gutter out - They're coming back once everything has defrosted a bit
- Wash up - Done
- Change beds - Done
- Clean bathroom - Done
- Hoover upstairs and stairs
- Iron 10 items of clothing and put away
- Decide what to make for dinner…might have to have a look in the freezer
- Do daily clicks
I'm now sat down with a nice cup of tea (thanks Doodledo) and then I am going to hoover upstairs and the stairs.
So far so good, as the A-Team said 'I love it when a plan comes together'
I can hear everyone singing that theme tune now......:rotfl:0 -
Wow!!!!
And for your next trick?

We have received a letter from Cheltenham and Gloucester regarding the mortgage and I am glad that we didn't change to the tracker one that they offered us.
If we'd have changed to the Tracker one, they would have charged us £2k fee (but added it on to the end of the mortgage) and it the mortgage was going to cost us an extra £10 per month.
Cheltenham & Gloucester have instead put us on their basic 5% rate and it is still going to cost us £10 extra month
but we don't have the £2k fee added on. I think we can handle that! 0 -

Besides what was on my list I have put out two bin bags full of rubbish and I have hoovered and polished the lounge
I feel like I have achieved something today...I did send DH a text asking him to iron his shirts so that the basket is empty
I did a few surveys for Valued Opinions this afternoon and have enough to redeem a voucher, but only when it clears, once it does though that will go towards next Christmas
I also managed to do some colouring with the kids

:hello::hello::hello: Evening all
Wow Tea - I'm impressed!!! :T I often have lists that long to work on but I don't ever remember getting even half way through them !!!:rotfl: I'm too easily distracted!!
Good idea starting the birthday planning so early! When my DD was born in January, we decided to give her a half a birthday in the June when she reached 6 months old. We told our local baker that we wanted a cake and asked her to sort it out - she made her half a birthday cake with 'Happy Half Birthday' on it - and she even put half a candle on it!! It was really cute! Now though we are trying to sort out what she wants to do for her 16th next month (16 is the 'new 18' apparently - thanks to the 'Sweet 16' programme on TMF.) I think that there's a lot less planning going into this than your DS's 5th!!
:rotfl: Top Cat, the most delectable Top Cat, most friends get to call him TC...dah, de, dah, de, dooo, be, da doooo!!! :rotfl: All together now!!!!
Love Top Cat - and Wacky Races - haven't seen that for YEARS .... however...HATE Scooby Doo with a passion - pesky kids!:happyhear 2009 Sealed Pot Challenger No 395 Target £300 :j

We have got some snow here this morning and have got the coldness to match!
Dizzee – I forgot to mention that Inspector Gadget is on first thing in a morning too…I used to love that program and always wanted to have him as my uncle! Sad eh?
Today is a fairly uneventful day, list is as follows:- Drop Christmas present off to mate at my old work place
- Get a load of brown paper from him too
- Buy fruit and veg from market
- Go to Boots for nappies and chewing gum for DH – use points/gift card
- Wash up
- Go see DS in school nativity play
- Decide what to make for dinner – fajita’s probably as we have a mix in the cupboard
The reason why I am using the gift card or my points at Boots is that we have very little money left before we hit the overdraft limit, so anything I can do to save some money until DH gets paid on Monday I am going to do.
Once Christmas is out of the way I can get a start on my plan for the year a head, that I am looking forward to; the good news is that DH has stopped worrying about money now
he’s just convinced that the kids are going to be taken in to care because we may be heard shouting at the kids or the kids may be heard squealing when they laugh because of recent happenings in the papers.
I need to go through the savings account and move any interest accumulated from the overpayments to SiL to a separate account, this she wasn’t getting and this is then going to be my start for the £20,000 I want to save so we can eventually move
I need to start photographing some of the kids toys and get them on e-bay and sell them to add to the pot.
I hate it when my mind runs off like that I end up thinking about all sorts of things and get other ideas.
Off to sort the kids out and get another cup of tea.0 -
Goooooooooooood Morning
The mouse comes in singing Top Cat (which is prob a bit strange for a mouse to be singing)
hope you manage to keep it a low spend day and good idea using your Boots points to help you out.£2 savers club 2025 #40 -
Another cold day and another scraping of the car to be had…roll on the spring.
Today is another one of those uneventful days, the list is as follows:- Take DS to school
- Tesco’s – but can’t remember what for but I know I need to go
- DD to playgroup
- Wash up
- Washing
- Ironing
- Hoover lounge
Tonight we are going to order a curry for dinner as we want to wrap some more of the presents and try and get them done and out of the way.
DH and I discussed how much we would need to move and DH believes that it may cost us £30,000 not £20,000 as I thought  . I’ve never bought a house so I am completely clueless about how it all works….anyone got any words of wisdom of how that money would get split up and who would get what?????
I have told DH that I am going to start using e-bay again and will photograph the kids toys and flog them on there, we got the majority for nothing from DH’s family and my mum so anything we get for them will be a bonus, even if it’s only 10p.
We got a letter from the consultant that saw DD and the blood test has revealed that she has normal levels across the board apart from her Thyroid Stimulating Hormone that is raised, he wants to do a re-test in 3 months to check it and if the lump hasn’t reduced in size he will do an isotope scan?
Have a good day everyone.0 -
Hi tea!
Well, thats good news about the scan, I'm glad to hear it. As far as the house move goes, there are *so* many paymens:
- survey
- solicitors
- removal company
- insurance
- doing things up ready for sale.
- stamp duty.
- fees to the mortgage company.
It really, really adds up.2023: the year I get to buy a car0
