morning! You're keeping on top of it, and know where its all going, and thats the really important thing. Trading has been weird this morning, so nowhere near a signal, so I popped on here to have a looksee. Hope Tesco Gatwick goes well (I must google and find out exactly where that is ....)2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Hi Karmacat,
Tesco's Gatwick was fun to find! It took me an hour for what should have been a 20 minute journey but find it we did and we got some goodies as well as some of the usual stuff; you wouldn't think it to look at her but DD was an angel the whole time we were there.
Mum has text me to let me know that surprise number 2 is on it's way....
Hope you managed to get some trading done.0 -
Sounds good! And exciting, with surprise no 2 on the way - isn't your mum lovely!
I did get some trading done - it lost me money, unfortunately, but I know what happened, I'm easy about it - I was flummoxed at the time, but the panic before and afterwards seems to have completely disappeared, thank heavens, I've finally beaten that, so I can think sensibly about it all.
Off for lunch now -see you later

_party_ I dying to know what this one will be!!! Your mum sounds brilliant :rotfl:
You sound so organised = I haven't got the tree & decorations out the attic yet, but that's because I'm too much of a wuss to go up a ladder myself (a step ladder at the top of of the stairwell.._pale_ ) so I need to collar a willing neighbour to do it for me! Mind you, need to clear the bombsite formally known as my living room before I can put it all up! Leading by your example I am going to blitz the paperwork over the next few evenings. Wish me luck :happyhear 2009 Sealed Pot Challenger No 395 Target £300 :j

Hi tea been reading your diary. You are very positive and inspire me into making myself think I can also get done what I want / need in 09 without wimping out again and again, though a different set of goals to yours, but will be following with interest.0

Hi Tea,
great news about your lovely mum's surpises
.
With regard to the soft play; how about starting to save for the winter usage when at the park in the summer. Rather than panic each time I have to pay for DDs swimming/recorder/brownies/schooltrips etc I've started putting money away for them each week so it's never a nasty shock
Mind you, working out how much the annual costs are is pretty damn scary  .
Hope DDs test results are good news
take care & easy on the ironing

Afternoon to one and all and hello to Yukkibear and Dizzeepixie :hello:
Lula – The soft play centre does annual membership for DS’s age it is something like £66 per year and for DD I think it is £55 per year, which fair enough isn’t that bad but we don’t use the local one near enough to warrant getting it. Good tip about saving it up during the summer, I think I’ll give it a go.
DD was supposed to have an x-ray last week so the consultant could find out what the lump is, however the hospital don’t do x-rays or ultrasounds on children under 3, so they have referred it back to the consultant to see what he wants to do next. I fear that she may end up having an MRI in which case they will have to mildly sedate her to do it.
This evening I have my Physio appointment so they can give me some more exercises to strengthen my back and therefore we are having beef casserole which will be ready when I get back.
This afternoon I need to get the washing up done and finish making dinner so I can program the oven as well finishing the washing, ironing 10 items of clothing and playing bubbles with the kids…I guess at some point I will also need to feed them :rotfl:
Have fun everyone and I will try to update later.0 -
Worrying tho, about DD ... hope you can get some news soon.2023: the year I get to buy a car0

That is so true and thank you, the worst case senario I hate to think about but have; the medium senario is that she is on medication all her life for her thyroid, that I think I can cope with and the lesser one is that it is just a calcium deposit as the result of a tooth that didn't end up where it should have.
Off my list this afternoon, I have done the washing (last load in tumble drier now) and more than 10 pieces of ironing and I put it away too, which I hate doing.
Tomorrow will be a NSD as we have the gutter men coming back again to sort the guttering out as it is now leaking across the front of the house; so I think that I might change the beds and clean the bathroom in the morning...what a fun filled life I lead.
Oh whilst I remember, we did get some good news today - a friend of DH's his wife had their baby yesterday morning by emergency c-section
