Woke up this morning to DD burning up, yesterday she was absolutely fine and I thought that she’d finally got over her cold/flu. So my newly qualified first aider of a hubby has asked me to keep a diary of her temperature all day today.
On to the rest of today.
The kids and I are going to the local soft play centre today and tomorrow, so money alas will be spent there.
I need to go to Tesco’s to get some milk and Calpol and I also need to go to the dump and get rid of some carp that’s been hanging about.
The good news is that I listed a load of the kids clothes on e-bay and woke up this morning to find that I have sold a few items
and others have watchers…fingers crossed they will sell.
I need to get a grip with the Lightspeed surveys and get a few more of them under my belt then I can draw out the money from Paypal and get that in the bank  .
Right must dash as I need to get ready.0 -
Time for an update I think as I’ve been pretty quiet the last couple of days but for good reason, DD still isn’t very well and has now been given anti-b’s to get rid of it

A few good things have been happening though:- I have sold four things on e-bay
- I have a payment from Amazon coming through
- Five other items on e-bay are being watched

The kids and I are going to the market today to get some veg and fruit and a friend of mine that I used to work with is posting my parcels for me. He works in the post room and saves me the hassle of queuing up in the post office and he doesn’t charge me either, so saves me money too
We were supposed to go to the soft play centre yesterday but as DD wasn’t well we ended up not doing, we did go on Tuesday but DD spent the entire time wrapped around me like something sticky; I needed a crowbar to prise her off just so I could go to the toilet! At least yesterday ended up being a NSD so not too bad I guess.
Have a good day everyone.0 -
£805!!!! You poor thing! Ye gods, if its *dropping* to that, you're doing brilliantly just to keep up with it. And I'm sorry to hear DD is so poorly. Hope you can manage to take care of yourself as well.

Thought I’d do a brief update in things here.
One of the things I sold on e-bay to someone has complained that what I sold wasn’t as described, which is complete tosh; I just knew this person was going to complain when they bought them  but hey ho that’s life. I’m not in the mood to argue with them and have just asked that they return and I’ll refund. I will give them to the charity shop instead.
On the upside yesterday was yet another NSD and DS got a load of clothes from a friend of mine with the promise of more
Plan for today:- DS is going to a party at the local soft play centre, which is closing in March BTW
- Housework
- Pub visit to meet our friends later
- Tesco’s for something for lunch tomorrow

The soft play centre is closing? Isn't that sort of a social centre for you? What's going on with it? Thats a shame.2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Well I didn’t think it had been that long since I did my last update. It’s been illness after illness in this household this past week.
Anyway I’m back again, how long for I have no idea lol
Good news is that I sold the majority of the stuff I put on e-bay and have also sold a couple of books on Amazon, payments which I have received and have put in the savings.
My attempt at a major shop once a month with smaller top up shops in between appears to be working.
Karmacat – Yes they are closing the soft play centre on the 22nd of this month. Where it is built is on the site of an old barracks and the trust that owns it is raising the rent, which the people that are currently using the centre can’t afford to pay and as such they are closing it. We do have another soft play centre, however it is a half hour trek in the car to get to it, but it is better than the one that is closing any how.0 -
Hi all,
Thought that I'd better update as it's been a while. I am still about and still plugging away at the debt, but haven't been able to update for a while as we are still fighting illness!
As soon as I can I will be back, fighting fit and will do a proper update.

Hi Tea,

I hope you all recover from illness soon & can enjoy the lovely sunshine.
Well done for keeping up with debt busting,

Oh Tea! What a shame ..... still, glad you checked in, and sending lots of positive vibes your way (I'm on a 3 week positive thinking course, free, and while sending vibes is not included, its a ... positive... thing to do anyway.
Lots of hugs.2023: the year I get to buy a car0
