Need Advise Badly, Thank you
Well this is a weird one, I had a deal with a buyer that wanted my vehicle and gave me a deposit, now I have another offer much higher!
First of all the first person is very rude, treats people like they have mental problems, and didnt pay when he said he would, and changes is story when he is going to pay the remainder, he said he would pay yesterday at first, then said he wanted it delivered first then he will pay, on the other hand the other person is very nice and will pay all at once!
also My mother has the title, which I was buying it from, and now I cant afford the payments, so she told me to sell it and give her what money I owe her and we are all good!
the first buyer said he was going to give the money to my mother and get the title, he hasnt done that
so would I be in the total wrong if I sold it to the other person and give the first one his money back?
I just really dont want to deal with the headache of this guy its already been a pain
the worst thing is they both want it on monday

We only give GOOD advice here, sorry...0 -
Is the car on finance? If so then it's not your or your mothers car to sell - it belongs to the Finance Co.0

as the post says, I was making payment to my mother who has the title!
which if she has the title its hers!
but I have paid it half way and she has givin me the option to sell it and keep the balance after paying her the amount owed to her!0 -
So it's your mum's car, which she owns outright and you were giving her so much a week/month for it?
Then get the 2nd person down, buy it with a Bankers Draft payable to you or your mum, then tell the 1st person that it's no longer for sale as you have had a change in circumstances and give them their deposit back...0 -
you moan about messing people about then you do it yourself0

Im not quite sure where you are making any sense!
to add to the situation, my mother wanted this first guy to go to where she works to pay her for one reason, my stepfather is seargent of police, and dont want too many people knowing where they live, and this guy keeps insisting that I take him to her house and pay
the other guy will take the vehicle give me cash, then I go to my mothers house pay her and get the title, then take it dirctly to him, and we are done0 -
You're acting as your mothers agent and have a contract with the first buyer.
If he sued you then equity would make good the contract and he would get the car.
Probably.0 -
acctualy he agreed to show up where my mother works and pay yesterday, and didnt, thats where he is making things more difficult. now he wants it delivered before he goes and pays, almost sounds like he is trying to pull a quick one
so there for I can sell it so the other guy, and keep the deposit, but Im not going to keep, I will give it back to him0
