to add to the situation, my mother wanted this first guy to go to where she works to pay her for one reason, my stepfather is seargent of police, and dont want too many people knowing where they live, and this guy keeps insisting that I take him to her house and pay
the other guy will take the vehicle give me cash, then I go to my mothers house pay her and get the title, then take it dirctly to him, and we are done
Dont tell them about your stepfather? They wont know or care who he is, anyone who wanted to find out where anyone lives can pretty easily0 -

thats where the pickle is, this guy wanted to know who both my parents were before he made the deposit, and I would be in a bad way with my stepfather if I took him there, thats why the agreement was to go and pay my mother
and I talked to my mother and he called her work and was !!!!y when she told him that the insurance was going to be dropped as soon as he got it, almost like he wanted us to keep insurance for him or something
and the point now is that he didnt pay as agreed0 -
its got nothing to do you with your stepfather, just dont mention him
Is this the first time youve sold a car?0 -

i personally would want to come to the address on the log book and make sure the registered owner is actually selling the car,i have sold several cars for friends and have always given the buyer the option of coming to there house to confirm ownership .Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. on the other hand, I have to deliver it 200 miles, and if he pays her, he has the title in hand, shouldnt be a problem with that
I dont want to deliver it 200 miles without him paying for it first, in which case he is in the same vicinity as my mother where he could have payed as agreed!0 -

let me rephrase this!
this guy is making a big deal out of this, sure maybe hes trying to save his behind, or maybe he is trying to screw me, he wants it delivered then go pay, whats to say he says I dont want to pay the agreed amount after I get it there? or just disapear?
the other guy will pay me in full, I go get the title for him and deliver the title! no one has a worry0 -

LOL, good point but all im doing is trying to get some input on the situation, im tired of getting screwed myself, and as time goes buy with this guy im getting a bad feeling
and getting to think about it more and more is I wouldnt be in breach of contract, he would for not paying as agreed
and as for the deposit on that note I wouldnt have to give it back, but I will give it back to him, and be done with the whole situation0 -
Just tell the 1st person the car is no longer for sale.
I wouldn't drive 200 miles for someone without some kind of payment 1st!
Sell it to the 2nd person who seems to be more on this planet.0
