Thanks it is ending now, MFI gives a bad name for British business. They left us in turmoil for weeks. Sorry to see people loosing their jobs but hopefully they will find better jobs in decent companies.
Does anybody know if I paid by credit card but have just received the statement am I required to pay the whole balance and apply for a refund or not paying the transcations related to MFI purchases and pay the remaning of the balance?0 -
well after an hour of trying to print the claim form im giving up ,
FRUSTRATING or what !!
they are certainly putting us through some pain :0(0 -
Now it looks like orders aren't going to be fulfilled and there seems to be lots of people missing parts - we will try and help. We were fitting for MFI (owed thousands) and have taken the decision to set up a supply as well as an installation service (well, it was that or nothing). If there is anyone in the South West looking for either complete bedrooms or just matching parts, please contact us as we have already managed to do a good match for someone on bedroom furniture to an existing range. Kitchens are not quite so easy, but Howdens has been mentioned loads of times seem to be a good starting point. Good Luck to everyone in getting the bits that they need. With regard to the good prices mentioned on an earlier posting - we personally think that their pricing was unrealistic, unsustainable and with hindsight was just a cash flow exercise, was there ever an intention to supply at these silly prices. Work it out a bedroom costing £1200, with £600.00 of free fitting pay all of the staff, overheads and for the product itself. No! e-mail: somersetfurninst@aol.com0

Hi, I would definitely not pay anything off relating to the MFI purchases as these are now in dispute. However, make sure you meet the interest/minimum payment whilst your dispute is ongoing so as not to get any adverse credit information registered against you. When / if the credit card company refund your account, they will also reimburse you with any interest you've paid on the items.
Hope this helps and good luck.0 -

Hi All
I have finally found a match for the MFI space cream kitchen!!!
I was short 2 cabinet doors and looked everywhere for them.
B&Q have a new range and the colour is exact!!! It's called "Gloss Cream Slab".
Prices are very reasonable, cost me £54 for 2 doors.
My 2 new doors are now in place and honestly...you would never know they were not from the same shop!!
Check out the link...........

Hope this helps some of you!!
