Cannot do anything about debit yet as mcr are still saying they are trying to pay cash payers back ha ha, barclays sent forms within a couple of days and am waiting to hear from them, spoke to cap one on 1st dec, had not received anything by 11 dec so called them back, (waited because call centre staff do not have a clue!) anyway they are sending out the forms again. Will let you know if i get them.
Hi
Which number/department did you ring at CapitalOne? I didn't manage to get as far as getting even a promise of a claim form from them so you did better than me! Any advice welcomed.0 -
Capital One number is 08458400400. Big difficulties with communication, after explaining situation re: MFI administration, advised that my next payment was due 7th December!!!!! Asked what that had to do with anything, anyway was then put through to Disputes Department who operate between 9 and 5. They don't want to know about Debit Card payment, so will give them all a while to sort it and then i will get angry:mad:0

Hi guys,
Glad to see so many of you paid by CC. Wish I'd of thought of that. I paid over £5k with a cheque and I don't expect to see a penny back.
I'm really interested in hearing from the posters who have any information on how I can go about finding where the warehouse is and collecting it myself. I purchased it at Watford and it was due for delivery on the 11th Dec.
I know I'm clutching at straws here but any advice would be greatly appreciated.0 -

Hi
Desp for Kennington integrated appliance doors. Please bear me in mind. Thanks0 -
Hi,
Im in a similar situation to many on here, kitchen paid for on credit card (well deposit anyway) and due on 10th with no sign.
We ripped our kitchen out in preparation for the new one, so I have no kitchen for xmas and my wife is pregnant with our first child.
I just need an answer as to whether it will come or not, anyway I work in central London and if we can get a few people together I am more than happy to got to the Administrators office, Im sure we can get a press crew theer if we tell them some of the stories that are on here.
Any takers ?0 -
I've just been ploughing through the administrators website, there is a proof of debt form on there which I originally thought was for trade creditors etc. But it has a customer and customers reference box on it. Are we supposed to complete this form to be added to the creditors list? I couldn't find my name on there either! There was also a statement saying that as the company had only been trading for 8 weeks..... Have we also got an inexperienced administrator dealing with our problems? Makes you wonder Hmm!0

At the moment I believe the form is for trade creditors only. Your name will not be on that list, the administrator has obtained permission from the High Court not to publish customers names, for privacy purposes.
It is likely that the company has only been trading for 8 weeks as MFI originally went into administration on October 7th (I believe) the new management then set up a new MFI company MFI Group, this company is the one that has now gone into administration, along with the customer deposits.0 -
I paid £800 deposit on a kitchen via debit card and only got the surveyor stage before administration. If by some miracle MFi can fulfill my order will I be liable to pay up for the rest of the kitchen or can I just call and cancel the order and request a refund of my deposit (which I may or may not get in full or at all I understand) free in the knowledge that I can only get stung for this £800 max leaving me open to get my kitchen from somewhere else?0
