And how are the CC company dealing with you not having any paperwork?

I'd love it if MCR sent me a letter to say that these pieces weren't coming so at least I'd have something to show CC company, but then I'm not going to hold my breath!

actually got through to a real person this morning..she said i would not be receiving our bedroom furniture tomorrow (as you would have expected.) she could tell me nothing,,except they would probably not be fullfilling any orders next week..after listening to the trains,,horns and other rubbish on the line ,,i dont think you can really take these administrator people seriously. two pensioners £2325.92 out of pocket..

Well they said to me the other day that i would need a letter saying it wasnt going to be delivered - ive thrown that back to them on the advice from this forum that i dont need a letter as they have gone into adminstration and im claiming on section 75. I sent the template from this forum from the MFI advice and that seems to have kept them quiet so hopefully they are now actioning my claim.

PS - ive also contacted the Financial ombudsman to see what my rights are and they are willing to send them a letter also.

if it helps anyone, I have got lots of MFI doors in the following ranges,
Oakley, Henley, Chatsworth, Tewkesbury.
Sizes and details are listed on ebay under the same username as I have here, DSODAVID

I may be getting some more soon - I'll keep you informed but I'm expecting the white gloss doors and the walnut.

I'm not sure that Black Horse can back out of the deal that easily. I would contact citizens advice, your local trading standards office and also the Office of Fair Trading who hand out the consumer credit licences for advice.

We have a mfi tamarind range kitchen and would like to buy a couple of matching bits for it. With mfi now in admin, who/where would still supply this range ?

Ive rung that helpline and never got through.

THE LETTER WAS JUST THE SAME AS WHATS ON THE MFI WEBSITE,
BUT KEEP ON TRYING THE TELEHONE , YOU WILL GET THROUGH EVENTUALLY. GOOD LUCK .

We purchased our kitchen in August and it was partially fitted in October. We are still waiting for a number of items to be delivered and installed (nae chance!).

We took out the instore finance through Blackhorse. At the time, I was under the impression that this was a loan but Blackhorse are now telling me that I have actually signed up for a store card for which they have provided the credit. According to Blackhorse, I need to get the MFI administrators to credit a refund to the card, otherwise I'll need to pay them back. Surely this can't be right. Has anyone else had any experience of Blackhorse Finance?

I've noticed a few other posts from people with incomplete orders/Blackhorse finance - does anyone know where we stand?
