I totally agree with you kthaker that Tmo appear to be looking for leeway in making delays in payments to a lot of customers, yet afford none of this flexibility in our favour and scour for loopholes and excuses not to pay - including using phrases with double meanings which goes against government law . From my point of view, as i have followed t&c's to the letter, i will instigate legals tomorrow if there is no cheque on my doormat - i am 100 per cent sure they would take the same stance should you default (as they have shown many times on these pages).

Best of luck and i will keep you posted good or otherwise

It really makes me so cross. Life is difficult enough as it is! Like others I've kept to the T&C's and am getting nowhere. Good luck Oggsy (but I do hope you get something from them in tomorrows post?!)

    Hello,

I have sent an email to the forum team but have yet to receive a reply.

I would like to confirm that i am able to send an online copy of my 4th bill for my first claim.

The reason for this is that my previous bill took about 3 weeks to arrive. Obviously this coincides with the deadline for sending off the bills. Therefore i would just like to confirm if i can send my first three bills as originals and the fourth as an online printout.

This is just so i dont have any problems with my 1st cashback claim.

The 3 customer advisor told me this should not be a problem as they cannot guarantee that my bills will arrive quick (although they should arrive within 7 days) and that some do take a while to receive.

I would just like to double check, if the 4th bill arrives in time i will send the original if not then CAN I SEND A PRINTED ONE.

    Thanks for your time.

    Regards.

Just to update my original post the phone still hasn't arrived so I will be cancelling my order with them. Has anybody got any advice on the best way to do this? Should I send a fax to them advising that I want to cancel or is phone/email the best way to do this?

Sorry folks but no cheque from Tmo, along with no reply to 2 emails sent yesterday and none to this forum ( what a shock !!) so in goes my moneyclaims online form. Apparently you pay them 30 quid or so and they chase money for you, then reimburse you your cash with your 30 quid cost.. I'm just gonna do that now and i'll keep you updated.

    Keep your peckers up

    Hi All

Just to say that I have received my first cashback from TMO about 2 weeks after the 28 days after email saying that TMO had accepted the cashback claim, the advisor did say there was a 2 week delay in payments because of Christmas and New Year

Over the past two weeks I have sent three emails to TMO, the first was querying a notification from them confirming that a cashback application I had made was successful and that I would be receiving payment within 28 days. The thing is, they had aready confirmed this to me via a similar email over a month earlier! I duly received my cashback money a few days later. I also asked about some of the phones that they have on offer. I already have two 3 contracts through them, I have now cancelled my contract with T Mobile and I need a third contract, preferably with 3 again.

My second email to them was as follows -

    "Dear Sirs,

    Ref: Order Ref: 16843267

I would like to thank you for the cheque I received from you last week for the first cashback claim on this phone and also for cashback I received on my other phone through you last October.

However, I am confused by the amount received. Would you please be good enough to explain to me how the cashback is calculated? I anticipated that the amount would be for half of the annual line rental that I am paying, which is £210, but I received £183.75.

I also have an identical phone, on the same tariff but with 11 months free line rental, with you. I thank you for the first cashback received from you for this phone, via BACS on 25.10.06. of £140.00. Again I am confused as I would have thought that this should have been half of the 11 months rental which is £192.50.

I have been following your postings on the Money Saving Expert website forum pages. When I first took out my contracts with 3 through you I posted details of your service (all positive thanks) on this forum. I’d like to thank you for being the only supplier to take the trouble to answer queries, and critics, on this site. It is very useful as well as being very reassuring.

I thank you in anticipation of your reply."

Unfortunately I have heard nothing from TMO, even after I re-sent the second email a week later, and I am very concerned and disappointed that they haven't bothered to contact me. I would have thought that being an existing customer, and looking to take out a further contract, would have increased my chances of a reply. Has anyone else had cause to query the amount of the cashback they have received?

Due to my lack of confidence with TMO and coupled with their very complicated cashback system - five applications that demand far too much time, plus look deliberately intended to "help you fail" - I am now on the point of abondoning all future contracts based on cashbacks in favour of the cheapest deal I can find with 3 directly via Quidco. Anyone know of the best deals?

Sorry this post has "gone on a bit".
  • Hi Everyone,

We have been reviewing the time frame in which cash back applications are currently being processed. It would appear to due to a back log there seems to be a delay of approximatley 5-7 working days in processing payments. This back log should be cleared within the next 2 weeks. Please accept our sincerest apology about this delay and for any inconvenience caused. If anyone requires any information on their individual cash back claims, please PM your order details, and we will be in touch within 24-48 hours.

    Kind Regards

  • I have sent a PM to mobileoutlet this morning, they received my cashback claim on 22 December, and acknowledged this by e-mail on 6 January.

The 28 days were up on 19 January, and I have given them an extra 7 days to compensate for Christmas and New Year.

Wait to see what happens now.....

update....PM received to say I will be getting this within the next 2-3 working days. Waiting patiently....
