tappet_rattle wrote:You must have signed a direct debit agreement to allow them to take money from your bank account? Ask your bank how long the direct debit is for. Ask 3 for a copy of the agreement that you have signed then if you haven't signed any contract agreement why not just cancel the direct debit and tell 3 where to shove their phone:rolleyes: I bet they find a contract agreement then;)
Good luck
I think the direct debit details were filled in online at the time of application, and TMO would've just passed these onto 3. 3 have setup the direct debit for 18 months
So to all of you who have purchased from TMO, check the duration of your contract with your network and make sure it matches up what you initially signed up for.0 -

Hi,
Your order has been accepted and will be with you Wednesday/Thursday next week. The welcome email you received when you placed your order should have stated that your phone will be delivered week commencing 1st Jan 2007. Please accept our apology about the delay, but due to restrictions over the holiday period, there is a delay in delivering mobile phones.
Regards
Forum Query TeamI understand things are quite busy at this time of year, Most retail companies take on extra staff to cover for this, but TMO has done the opposite and closed for 2 weeks.T- Mobile Returns Policy
T-Mobile no longer operate a 14-day return policy. If however you are unhappy with your purchase you may return it to us within 7 days of purchase. The Day of despatch is counted as day 1 and your phone must be returned by day 7. This is in accordance with the Distance selling regulations Act. DSR* As of 1st May 2003, T-Mobile have removed the 14 day return policy from their package. Please therefore ensure prior to ordering that you are conversant with this change in policy & that the product(s) & network are suitable for your requirements. So I could actually receive this item on day seven if it arrives next Thursday?
Surely I must be within my rights to cancel this agreement without cost to myself?
Many thanks. ******.0 -
Hi Simar,
Your order has been processed but due to the holiday period there has been a delay in delivering your handset. We can confirm that you will not be billed until your handset is connected, which is likely to be the day your handset is delivered.
If you are not happy with receiving your handset in the quoted time frame - please PM confirmation of this and your order will be cancelled.

Mobile Outlet,
I contacted you (from jsingh_7@hotmail.com) about not having received my BT headset.
You provided the following reply on 5th December:
"Hi,
We have emailed our accessory department to have the Bluetooth headset
shipped to you. It should be with you within the next 3-4 days. As for your
cash back claim, you need to forward the first 4 bills, even if you have
been connected onto the network for less than 4 months. The dispatch note is
the only additional piece of paperwork which needs to be included with the
claim. There are no vouchers required.
Regards
Forum Query Team"
I replied to this a few weeks later asking why I had not received this yet.
I did not get a reply.
What is the situation? And why no reply?
Thanks.

I have recieved half of my cashback so far. The full £180, but my phone has just become faulty. Its still under warranty, but not sure how to go about getting it repaired. Plus I didn't realise they were part of Carphone Warehouse, so this confuses me more.
Any1 know what to do ? I've emailed mobileoutlet & carphone Warehosue but to no avail.
Thanks!0 -
I originally got my contract with mobile outlet, but the handset was delivered by vanilla mobile. and my number ported from orange to o2.
I didn't recieve any terms and conditions until 1 month later and that was after constant emails and telephone calls. they were supposed to be sent with the phone and my invoice.
now i have submitted a claim for cashback after 4 months as it states in the t&c's but they replied saying they received it too late. later than the 21 days allowed.
is this fair - and can I still claim?
i've heard else where of people going thru small claims - but I was in breach of there 21 day rule.0 -

I had the same experience, they said they received the bills 3 days outside the period.......my contention was that I sent them within the 21 days (their terms didn't say they had to receive them, just had to be sent).....although I hadn't sent by recorded delivery I took them to court and they didn't defend so I got judgement.....after much to-ing and fro-ing (and with the help of pm'ing here) I have today received my cashback but not the £30 court fee so I'm still waiting for that........my advice would be to pm them here as they are far more helpful than the people you deal with normally.......if still no joy and you did actually send within the 21 days then take them to court.0
