  • Well, at least they seem to recognise the problem now and are at least trying to resolve some of the situatins which they have noone to blame for but themselves. Well, better late than never I suppose, but I think that TMO should reconsider the staff they have working at their customer services, I think it is beyond reasonable doubt that their customer care team is guilty of a lack of professionalism and simply don't give a d@mn about the company that they work for. Perhaps TMO forum queries team should look further into this unless they want their reputation to be continually tarnished.

Please note that these emails will be responsed to Wednesday, Thursday or Friday next week.
i have written at least 5 e-mails to the above address with no reply,so why should i be confident that i,ll get a reply next week during the festive period when i havent had a reply to it the last 2 weeks?

    Hi,

There has been some confusion in the past regarding orders dispatched by Vanilla Mobile on behalf of The Mobile Outlet. If you can include your order ref number as well as the tracking reference number for the delivery of your cash back application, we will look into your questions for you.

    Hi,
I got two phones in september and I am about to claim my first cashback. Do I need to send the statements that come with the bills?
I am scared of sending them and them saying I have broken terms and conditions by sending them. (or by not sending them!)
    Thanks

I think it's just the top page, but I always send the whole lot and include a SAE for their return

ictmad, try using the forumqueries@themobileoutlet.co.uk email that is given on this thread, or even PMing themobileoutlet representatives here. That's basically you're only chance really. TMO have contracted out a bunch of retards to work in their customer services and are obviously paying for it now with disgruntled customers. Don't even bother with the emails given on their website, you won't get a reply and if you do it won't be decent. Replies are probably made by some chav who just wants to go for their smokebreak.

  • Hi all!
I read this forum before making my cashback claim at 6 months. I sent off the claim via 1st class recorded delivery. Got an email from MO tellin me that claim was successful and I should receive cheques within 28 days. In 30 days time, no cheque. After emailing both forumenquiries and CS, I received the cheque (it was after about 45 days actually).

I got the cheque without any phonecalls. I'm happy. Hope it's as easy as that at months 11 and 12 too MO.

    Thanks!

Below is a pm I sent to tmo + their reply. As it seems I can give notice to cancel my contract without annulling my right to the second cashback, I have contacted 02. They tell me my contract ends 28/2 and that they need a months notice to cancel the contract, or 7 days notice to switch to PAYG. Obviously I need to ensure I receive a 12th bill, which should get to me appx 6/2, so I figure that as soon as this arrives I should send it to tmo for my cashback claim, then call 02 to request a switch to payg. otherwise I'll have to pay a 13 months line rental if I give notice. Am I right, or is my brain just rusty with the excesses of the xmas season!

The plan is then to take another cashback deal (possibly with yourselves - presumably this wouldn't be a problem). Would it prejudice my second cashback claim with you, if I give O2 notice so my contract ends straight after my month 12 line rental.

    Hi,

This will not have any bearing on your second claim as you are entitled to cancel your contract at the end of it's term.
