Poppy9 wrote:I sent off mine and OH first 6 month cashback claims a week ago. I enclosed the original bills and a copy of T&C with a covering letter for each.
I have now recieved two emails, firstly acknowledging receipt of of claim and second to advise it had been approved and cheque should be with me in 28 days. :T
The £360 will go some way towards paying for my new computer.:)
My cheques are due with me on boxing day. Wonder if I will see them this year.~Laugh and the world laughs with you, weep and you weep alone.~:)

IAM HAVING MAJOR hassles with the mobileoutlet, when i 1st got my phone 7 months ago ,i took out a 12 month contract, but on my contract letter from vanilla mobile it said i was on a 18 month contract,i e-mailed the mobile outlet/vanilla mobile to tell them i took out a 12 month contract and not a 18 month deal,it took 8 e-mails to them before i got the answer back that not to worry it was a 12 month contract,6 months down the line(1 month ago)i send of my 6 mnoths bills and my original contract letter recorded mail,i hear nothing for 4 weeks,i have in the last 10 days sent 15 e-mails to mobile outlet with no replies(apart from automated replies of how there busy and they,ll reply within 48hrs??)so what do i do now? i think i have been conned twice 1st with my 18 mnoth contract AND now no cash back,i wouldnt have taken the deal if i had known i wasnt getting any cash back,i have had my last 2 contract phones with carphone warehouse and got cashback both times,so once i manage to end this contract i,ll never touch the conartist called mobile outlet/vannilla mobiel again, nor will i recommended them to any mates,i even sent a e-mail threatening legal action and still no reply0

ditto.. i think the only way to go is small claims court im afraid, thats what i am doing sooner rather than later as these level of complaints cannot be good for business . i had a call from chief execs office at 3g yesterday and they acknowledge there have been loads of complaints re. mobile outlet and mobile matters ( they are the same co. by th e way !) one post on 3g forum states that 60% of mo cashbacks are not paid. they cannot all be lost in the post surely? i am going to file a moneyclaim online on 3rd jan. i have recorded delivery receipt from 21st august when i sent my 6 bills in. i will be sticking to cpw in future, never had a prob with them at all with cashback or service.0

To TMO,
Would rather discuss opinions on this thread with other forum members about your company, but it seems that this is now the only way to get through to you people. I have now sent 5 emails to 5 separate addresses given, concerning my missing SIM card. Again might I remind you that I am paying for a contract which I can't even use because you never sent me the SIM card. Twice in consecutive days I've been told that it would be sent. Twice in consecutive days it has not been done. Even though I made the last customer advisor swear that he would get it sent to me the next day. It also seems that your PM box has been overflown with messages so much that you can't receive any more PMs. Nice tactics.

Hi Poppy9,
If you forward your order information via PM, we will be able to confirm a date for when payment will be issued, if it has not been done so already.

Hi,
There has been some confusion in the past regarding orders dispatched by Vanilla Mobile on behalf of The Mobile Outlet. If you can include your order ref number as well as the tracking reference number for the delivery of your cash back application, we will look into your questions for you.
