I know quite a few people are waiting on an answer on MO's integrity. I bought 2 x LG's on the 3 network just before Christmas. Claimed my 6 monthly cashback by recorded delivery and a covering letter. Bingo - 28 days after the cashback request - gregory peck, through the post for £270 (2 x £135). So after a nailbiting few weeks I'm happy to report they seem to be an okay company.
A bargain is something you don't need at a price you can't resist.

Hi, I have the same problem with most people, MO refuse to give me my cashback and said they didnt receive them. And say it was lost somewhere and they wouldnt accept anything else except original bills (which means i cant claim anymore since i've sent them all my original bills). Please, anyone, tell me how should i threaten them? any legal authorities/law that can be used?

Myself and OH ordered on Monday. We both have different T&C for cashback, only one of us had vouchers and neither of us had details of insurance cover. See here

Does anybody have any experience of claiming the free line rental rebate from this company. I signed up at the start of the year, and have to send in 6 months of bills after bill 6 received (within 21 days) to get £180 back. Anybody know of any sneeky tricks/pitfalls they use to get out of it? Thanks

The sneaky bit is they want your 11th bill within 21 days for no reason as they pay you second half of rental when you send in bill 12 (again within 21 days).

If anyone is planning to use mobile outlet, you can get £30 cashback for every pay monthly contract, using quidco. (most of members in the forum might know this, but just in case someone doesn't)

yes that is the sneaky bit, my second installment was rejected, coz I didnt realise you had to send your 11th bill in within 28 days of getting it and then your 12th bill. I sent them together and lost my cashback. Which is a right kick in the teeth.

My fault though, just been to look at t and c's and they seem to have changed the way of dealing with cashback, anyone else noticed this?
  • Hi, can anyone clarify which bills should be sent. I ask because, typically your first bill is sent as soon as you connect, not after 1 month. So the bill showing that you've been connected for a month is likely to be your second bill. Hence over the year, you will get 13 bills!
the scope for getting it wrong is there. Other sites (e.g. Phonebox Direct)specifically clarify this. Can those who have sucessfully got cashback clarify. And yes the T&C's now state that you have to send bills 1-6 at 6 months and 7-12 at 12 months. For cahback of more than £200, there are more frequent interval for sending bills off.
