The Mobile Outlet: any good? (merged)

Hi Guys... I got 2 LG phones off MO in November 05 so I will be applying for my first lot of double cashback in May 06. For what it's worth I e-mailed them recently and claimed to have lost my cashback details on how to claim and could they instruct me on their policy for claiming....(just to test the cashback water). They e-mailed me full instructions and sent a copy of their T&C's through the post. So I am feeling a bit warmer than before about getting the cashback. When I do the deed in May - I'll spill the beans...A bargain is something you don't need at a price you can't resist.0

I've dealt with them once and had no problems with cashback.
They were quick on delivery as well."I did then, what I knew then. And when I knew better, I did better"0 -
So actually is mobile outlet save?
I have just signed up a contract with them as well..
But after seeing all these posts..
Seems not many ppl know then..
Has any body actually get the cash back from them??
And they said i need to send the bills and a letter to them..
and what do i need to write in the letter?
mobile number, back detail???
thanks a lot0 -
Personally i wouldnt recommend them.
I ordered a phone but returned it quickly. A lot of the info. on their website was inaccurate. No tariff details were sent either. The email addresses they gave were wrong, hence never replied.
I sent a recorded delivery letter of complaint to their complaints manager and never got a response.
Glad i backed out early.
Just had a suspicious feeling about them.0 -
Bump - Cashback claimed... waiting for a chickens neck through the post.A bargain is something you don't need at a price you can't resist.0

i heard somebody said that they have changed their policy..
now we need to send them the voucher in order to claim the cash back..
Does anyone know that?0 -
How are mobile outlet regarding receiving cashbacks?
Are they a reliable company?
Are they in the same leage as CPW, E2save and The Link?
The reason why I want to find this out is because they seem to have eally good offers on, much better than what e2save, and the likes offer?
By the way, which phone is better, Nokia 6230i, SE K750i or the Nokia 6111?
Thanks0 -

I don't believe MO do vouchers - unless someone knows different.
Incidentally I sent off a claim for 2 phones 10 days ago and I have had a reply to an e-mail telling me they have received the cashback request and payment will follow in 28 days.A bargain is something you don't need at a price you can't resist.0 -
hey Christy,
Actually one of my friend have signed a contract with MO in April, and when she recieved her mobile phone package , there also has a A4 paper (printed as 2 vouchers ) , which MO asked her to fill in when she claim her cash back.
myself also signed a contract with MO just one week BEFORE my friend, and i haven't got any vouchers in my mobile phone package.
So i am just not sure whether this new voucher policy apply to the old customers as well or not.
by the way..some cashback questions
after u have sent ur bills to MO...
did u actually send them email and ask them whether they have received ur chashback request?
or
did MO send u an email and inform u that they have received ur cashback request automaically?
thx a lot~
