dd likes cold pizza, crudites and dip, hm popcorn, veggie fingers, cubes of cheese

what she doesn't like is sandwiches with HM bread - she calls it "poor bread" because people will think we're so poor that I have to make my own bread! she has wraps, pittas or bagels instead

One day a week they'll have a pasta salad - one with cheese, the other likes tuna.
Another day I send them in with a small flask of soup and a roll.
Then the other days, they're happy with sandwiches or wraps (they love the wraps, which we started only recently).
Plus apple or grapes and a biscuit.

I do packed lunch jelly portions in the smaller easiyo 'lunch takers' tubs for my 12 y o.
jelly is made with value AJ or OJ, or fruit juice drained from tinned fruit, the jelly goes cloudy, rather than clear.
a dash of pure lemon oil (Lakeland) gives it a lovely tang.

As a change from bread, why not try malt loaf with a little butter on it? or some rice cakes. My husband sometimes has this in his lunch box!:D

Mine like pitta breads or naan for a change - espec garlic ones!
I add cubes of cheese or hm ham (roasted bacon joint), hm tandoori chicken pieces, hm suasage meatloaf, pot of salad, grapes etc.

Their favourite though is 'cold burgers'. We often have these for dinner in various flavours, so I make extra. They are lovely cold with salad and mayo/relish in a burger bun. Added bonus is that my kids see it as a 'treat'
