LTS - yes i can manage..just. it will be difficult with the 4 kids on a weekend esp with DS3 as i rely on car to take him out in his special needs car seat, but i should be ok next month and will get car sorted out. only time it will be very hard is when he goes to respite care on 21st, i will have to find someone to take me and him there and back, and someone to sit the other kids while i do. thanks for asking xxNovember NSD's - 70

We bought a brand new stainless steel cooker in may 2004 . it is gorgeous. anyway i promised myself i would clean it weekly so it never got caked on grease. anyway i started out doing this. then a few weeks into it i didn't do it one week , and so it carried on.
until it got to this week and i thought i just can't stand looking at it anymore. it is disgusting. my kitchen is always clean and tidy then u see my cooker.
anyway i can't really afford the oven cleaners and tbh the smell makes me almost pass out and with kids in the house they not suitable.
Anyway i have cleaned the entire cooker and it is sparkling. it is gorgeous. looks brand new and guess how i did it
tesco value washing up liquid ( few squirts ) 2 tesco value sponge with the hard green top , and 2 tesco value soap filled pads. also alot of elbow greaseand hot water. but to do my oven cost no more than about 50p and i had no digusting smell. and i have a gorgeous ,shiney looking oven.
i am so pleased with myself i just had to tell everyone.0 -
I've been hyperventilating for the last two hours, my Estate Agents called me just before 6 and said he has booked a viewing for tomorrow morning  I've been running around like Mrs Doubtfire hiding stuff, putting Christmas away, hoovering and dusting, do you know how much stuff you can hide in a washing machine??? :rotfl:
I'm going to have a  now cos I'm cream crackered.
Thud! The quicker you fall behind, the longer you have to catch up...0 -

I feel like that after I've chiselled all the crust of food off my cooker and gave it a good cleaning, I make a promise to myself that I won't let it get as bad ever again but guess what, I lie to myself, it needs doing now.
