Just had phone call from DD1. She's finally sorted a van to pick her furniture and the rest of her stuff up tomorrow. Sort of gutted but also relieved that I can finally sort out the mess we've been living in for the last couple of weeks.
I will have to fumigate her room before I move DS into it thoughOrganised people are just too lazy to look for things

I've been hyperventilating for the last two hours, my Estate Agents called me just before 6 and said he has booked a viewing for tomorrow morning  I've been running around like Mrs Doubtfire hiding stuff, putting Christmas away, hoovering and dusting, do you know how much stuff you can hide in a washing machine??? :rotfl:
I'm going to have a  now cos I'm cream crackered.
Thud! The quicker you fall behind, the longer you have to catch up...0 -
Not a bad day today. Easy going, until OH went out, DD1 (14yo) then started a screaming match and its all my fault and she is refusing to live in my house any longer.
Ah well. Shes currently sitting on the sofa making big huff sounds every so often, waiting for Dad to come home (long wait!) to take her to the local childrens home. Shame I dont have any cash on me, or I would pay for the cab myself. (its how I feel right now)
But, Sausage and mash for tea. DD3 helped with the Mash - its great if I get her to help, cos she makes efforts to eat it then! Everyone else is in bed asleep.
I really fancy a glass of wine, but my tongue can get a little loose - and that is probably not the best idea right now.
Off to scrub my cooker - its not dirty, but at least I can take my frustrations out on that!
Its going to be a long night ..............................................0 -
Glad wrote:didn't you find the green scourer and the soap pads scratch the stainless steel?
no , because inside the oven is like black sparkley stuff. it is only stainless steel outside. but i did scrub this and it didn't scratch. although i must say i do have a matt stainless steel cooker. not the high shine type.
I was thinking to be honest about starting up a business cleaning cookers. i don't want to return to work as i have small children but i would gladly clean a couple of cookers a week. i must say it did take about 3 hours. but i was stopping to see to kids. so maybe a max time of 2 hours. but i reckon i could charge maybe £10 to £15 to clean a cooker. that includes traveling costs etc. what everyones opinion ?0 -
Yes and I would willingly pay 15 quid for someone to come and clean mineOrganised people are just too lazy to look for things

Has taken me ages to get threw this thread took one look at it in my 15 minutes or so on here in my lunch hour and decided to wait until I had time later  - hope everyone's feeling better, (((((((hugs)))))))) to MATH, PP, Moggins, JD and anyone else who is having a hard time at the moment.
Work was OK - didn't try and sort out wages at work today - too busy but will do it tomorrow - so many little bits to do but someone else is coming in tomorrow too so hopefully I'll be able to get on with the bits and pieces as someone is on holiday and another off sick while they clear the stuff I should be doing a bit.
Not very OS lunch as I bought stuff and needed to buy water too (would have preffered fizzy but trying to be healthier) as the machine as work is out of water and the tap water is dodgy  anyway was still only about £1.50 so not too bad - need to get a lunch box I think so I can take some bits in with me.
Dinner was pizza from supermarket with extra mozzerella, home grown basil and olive oil - very nice - and then rest of queen of puddings I made yesterday for pudding
Think I'm going to try and clear the pile of stuff on bedroom floor now and then try and get to bed in about an hour - need our sleep.Initial Mortgage January 2024 - £160,000

Today I did some washing and then folded it all up. I also made my first ever slow cooker meal and it turned out ok. I ordered my shopping and was pleased with the price as it worked out a tad cheaper and this time round I have some fresh veg which I don't normally get. Thats about all I've done OS wise.
Hope you all have a good day tommorow.
