Haven’t done anything outside today…. It’s just so cold…. I don’t mind the cold as long as it’s a warm cold…. Hee hee… just being a Silly Billy…. ignore me.
I do have some really good, wonderfully warm and cosy Thermal Long Johns but with all the Old Style cooking they don’t fit anymore…
Put the Slow Cooker on earlier – a really nice Chicken Curry is bubbling away – how wonderful. I will cook the rice a little later this evening. The £2 Coin Savers Club = £346.00 (£300.00 transferred to Savings a/c)

Hi Everyone,
Hope you are all having a good weekend. Went into town today and left OH to the mercy of DS. Stocked up on birthday cards at my local Birthdays shop (5 for £1). Also went into Boots and got some bargins for presents this year. Annoyed though as i'd spent over £10 and when I got downstairs relaised that the girl had not given me the haircare £3 off voucher. Ended up asking someone on the No7 counter, and they gave me one. Got a Frizz Ease smootihng balm to try for 89p.
Going to get my hair cut in a bit by my mum, I then hope I will not look like a scarecrow:D. Ds is in bed, after spending the afternoon doing puzzles.
Have a good night all ... Powie
P.S. Smokey - Thanks for thumbs up on my avator. I do not know how you cope with 3 cats. My cat powie is a pain enough all on her own. Mind you, I would not be without her! She is always fighting with my Mums cat (next door) called Pasty.A woman is like a tea bag. You never know how strong she is until she gets into hot water.:D0 -

get this every so often, xx
How are you mashing your erm...mash PP?
I find doing it in a food processor or with a stick blenda make it all gluey like wallpaper paste. YUK! Try an old fashioned masher, electric hand mixer (my prefered choice) or Kenwood (for larger quantites) (if you're lucky enough to have one) HTHLife's a beach! Hi MATH
Just how we normally do it...with a standard hand masher, a little butter and seasoning. Never used a blender or stick thing to mash.
Hope your well hun.

Well a rather unproductive day, we decided as it was a fine cold day we would go for a walk round the main cemetery looking for graves of my ancestors, we are compiling a family tree and I am short of some info. We found zilch, couldn't find one of them....things look so different when you are 62 and the last time you visited the cemetery was with your Grand mother when you were about 8!!!!! Noothing was how I remembered it at all, I think they have dug it all up and put it back in a different order!!!!! Never mind we plan a visit to the Family History centre on MOnday, they keep burial records, so hopefully I might find what I am looking for there.
Egg, chips and beans for supper tonight......peaches and ice-cream for dessert.....pork for tomorrow. I did manage to do soem ironing today, just in time to start washing again...... where does it all come from.... there are only 2 of us and the bin in the bathroom is full again.
