I've been up since 4am for some reason. I attempted to get an early night to break my night-owl behaviour. Off to bed at 9pm but was awake by 4am!

BM on making a loaf. WM already done a load. Just waiting to see whether i can hang them out today or into the TD.

I fancied making some onion bhajis today - then, as always happens - i see a OS thread about just the same thing! Onion bhaji making while the kids are out later this morning P.S. can you freeze bhajis? if so, how?

Also got some cheese & eggs to use up so i thought i'd make some HM quiches to freeze. Anyone know how i make quiches? (incl. making pastry) :o

    Breakfast - porridge
Lunch - quiche & salad (if i get a receipe)
Tea - mushroom chow mein (HM of course!)

    Morning All!

Dd woke me up at 5ish ... so just had a nice soak in the bath whilst she eats some raisins and drinks some milk!

All washing done yesterday, so hanging on airers .... DH will be home around lunchtime jetlagged with a suitcase of dirty laundry ...

Decided that once we've got dressed and breakfasted DD and I shall go in search of the elusive farmers' market!

I sat down and did a 6 week meal planner last night, I've just got three gaps, but hey, I'm sure we can fill those! 6 weeks cos that is what DD has at nursery, so I've had to complement that! Even if we don't stick rigidly to that (don't intend to!) it gives us ideas, I spend more time trying to work out what to cook for dinner than the actual preparation! DH is also happy with this, because he ALWAYS lacks inspiration! (He is a good cook, but has difficulty coming up with ideas ... point him in the right direction however and off he trots :) )

Right, time to dry my hair and get going! Wonder what the weather's like out there?!?

    Morning!

Im at work today as I couldnt find anyone to cover my shift, but am getting boyf to drive me in as its cold and me bus pass ran out so I need to get another. Had a fairly relaxed evening last night watching TV, did a bit of laundry etc and made a load of bread that was successful. Had a nice thick slice for my breakfast, this cold is making me hungry.

Im feeling a bit better this morning which is good, and my expenses were paid so im not as broke as I was yesterday, but still cant splash the cash! On that note, im going to get ready for work as I need to earn some!

Not feeling to good this morning. Fed up and in pain!

DD & OH have just left for the day:((there going to his family house and wouldnt go if I was paid..LOL-its a long story and not a very nice one...but thats a whole other thread). Anyway, packed them off with rolls/sarnies/flask etc as its a long drive and know if they stop, they will be tempted by over priced drinks and snacks. Im missing them already.

WM is on with a dark wash and will be hung on airer. OH has peeled spuds for tea tonight and I made extra rolls for me to snack on today as I dont have alot of energy. DW half full. Toilet cleaned. Floors swept. When I take the washing up, will tidy DD's clothes away for her and make sure beds are made etc-I will be very glad though when stairlift goes in:D

Need to keep busy today me thinks. Also would like to clean out the drawers in my dresser, but will see how I go.

    Breakie: Ham salad roll
    Lunch: Cheese salad roll
Tea: HM Pie, mash and carrots/peas

    Will call in later.

    Morning all

Hope you are all well, not feeling too bad this morning.
I have a new friend :j ok I don't make new friends very often and am seriously
lacking in the friends department so I am very chuffed, we have planned to go for sauna and a jacuzzi next week not very o/s I know, but I've never been for a sauna before :o I met her at the local breastfeeding support group that I help run and she is very like minded to me, did I say yay :j
lots of dishes need washing after my didasterous cooking last night, is there anything I can do with incinerated jam tarts I know the 2nd time in a week, but eastenders is just sooooooo good.
Is anyone a member of the swindon freecycle group, if so bewarned they are planning a heist ( a big robbery) and are asking for the following 3 jags, a large villa in spain, balaclavas, gloves and anything else that is appropiate for robbing b&q (a new conservatry) dixons (a laptop) and just for fun a bank :rotfl: I have benn pmsl all morning reading the messages twoing and throwing , PLease don't worry it is all a joke. but an excellent read :T
Um whats planned for today, nothing much just the normal housework and hopefully a drive in our new :j car forgot to mention that, at last dp has bought us a decent sized car for the 5 of us, we have been cramped in a peugeout 306 since baby was born. We now have a big 8 seater people carrier, I know that sounds too big but dp has taken out the backseats to put in all his valeting equipment and its a diesel so still money saving kind of.
Thats about it for now will probably pop back later
    Hugs to alll

    Morning everyone :hello:

Was another early night for me last night as I fell asleep whilst watching Frost and didn't wake up till 7.30am! I think the last few weeks must be catching up on me now and even though my head feels refreshed for the sleep, my body is aching all over and I don't have much energy :o

I think today might be mostly filled with admin tasks, unless I get a sudden burst of energy later on LOL! I need to finish re-vamping my budget for this year, as there have been so many recent changes to account for, and also need to have a serious think about downsizing my reptile collection as I just don't have the room here for all of them (had to sacrifice some items of furniture moving here so I could fit them all in!) and the money I save maintaining them could go into the new gardening budget pot. Decisions, decisions!

Other than that I'm just going to potter about and do what I can ... WM is on and I've washed last nights dishes, so need to put the BM on and decide what we're having for dinner tonight! Maybe I should make a start on my menu planning today too as that's all gone to pot lately :o

Hugs to all those in need and hope everyone has a lovely weekend :A

    Bye for now

Links on the right to pastry - and you can look up quiche using "List of all recipes", again that's on the right.

    Morning all.

Got a lady coming to see my dog this morning to see if she wants to keep her. Skie is lovely, but she is too much for us. We have had dogs before - but have always taken on other peoples adult dogs. We were a bit niave in getting a puppy this time round I think and underestimated the work involved. Shes 15mths, so not tiny! (A german shepherd!) No more pets!!!!
I do hope that Skie likes this lady - the lady sounds perfect for her - a stay at home mum who lives in a rural location and loves walking everywhere and training/playing with dogs! I'll give Skie a quick brush in a minute to make her a bit more presentable and remove the mud from this mornings walk!

Off into town after the lady has been. Might check out the end of Debenhams sale and I need a new telephone my one is almost dead. I have a whopping £5 in Nectar points, so am buying the cheapest phone from Argos. Meeting mum for a spot of lunch. Eldest two are shopping with their friends and the youngest two are off to the park with grandad so I can go into town on my own!

MW is on, TD on and about to give this place a quick spruce up for when these people come.

    See you later

    Hiya

Just had my apple and raisin porridge which was yum.

Oooh - just got sidetracked by postie. My freebie Martha Hill face cream has just arrived :j Look forward to slapping that on tonight :D

Anyway - originally got up at 5.29 cos misread clock when DS2 came in - decided that was waaaayyyy too early, so made him go back until nearly 8. ) Don't know what I'll be doing today. Mr TM is takng DS1 with him somewhere, so just DS2 to entertain. May give a friend a ring and see what's what and may even visit.

WM needs to go on. BM is having a rest on account of the fact I need to eat up what's in the freezer :D Need to do some hoovering/dusting but that won't take long and bathroom/loos need a going over. Have no idea what's for tea (sorry, can't get into meal planning) so will either rummage through freezer or make a lasagne as have some bol sauce left in the fridge. May even make some more soups as I have lots of veg in the fridge too.

Ok, off for a surf whilst I finish my herbal tea then may even have a bath (if I can keep littlies out :D)

Have a great day everyone. PP - try to think positively about having the day to yourself - have some pure selfish 'me' time, if you can but don't overdo anything - that's an order!! :D
