Old Style Diary Archive - JAN 06

Morning everyone.

I'm still in bed (lazy mare!) but it looks nice and sunny so will get up after writing this and get the WM on.
Nothing much planned for today other than posting out some Ebay and Amazon parcels and perhaps a meander round the charity shops.
Weekend meals will all be "something from the freezer" - I'm trying to empty it out a bit as it's badly in need of defrosting.

Morning everyone,
Another bad night for me, but thats nothing unusual, normally like to stay in bed a little later at the weekend but DS has football this morning, and has to be there for 10, with a 10.30 kick off, so another morning standing in a cold muddy field for me and DD!!!. Unfortunatly, their dad has decided that after all the years DS has been playing football, today is the day he wants to come and watch, so will have to put up with him as well as the mud, i know which one i prefer!!!! He then has DD for the day, and DS until tomorrow evening (DD refuses to sleep overnight at his house(dont blame her, but dont say that to her)) so i have a peaceful afternoon for me, mind you, will prob spend most of it MSEing and neopetting but that keeps me happy which is the main thing.
Anyway, WM needs to go on, and i really need to hoover upstairs, the one disadvantage to my job is that i can always keep downstairs tidy, but not upstairs, as i wouldnt want to leave the little ones i look after alone whilst im busy upstairs, so its my normal weekend task. Apart from that, nothing else planned as its just me here, maybe a nice bath and a bit of me pampering (so many of you recomended that yesterday!!!)

morning everyone, no work for me this weekend, im meeting my daughters i proberly take them out for lunch, we usuaily brain storm, and try and think up ways we could earn a living,not working for anyone else, you have to have dreams i surpose, we love cats and dogs if we worked from home we would be able to keep them. who knows we may come up with something, i may buy a new top for work, i love it when my girls are with me they are a bit like trinny and suzanne, in a nice way, they wont let me buy something that doesnt suit me. i will catch up later hope everyone has a good day..suzy

Morning All

Just wrote a massive message and then DD grabbed the Laptop and lost it :mad: . Feeling yucky got a sore throat. Not doing much today. Got to pickup my phone its been repaired :j so will do that later and nip in Tescos. DH and I are going out tonight for the first time since October cant wait :j . Hopefully will get to wear the lovely dress I got at Xmas from Asda otherwise by the time we go out again I will have dieted out of it .

Making Potato cakes for lunch with leftover mash. That about as OS as it will get today

I wont hug anybody today as I dont want to give you my cold :rotfl:

Morning all

Looking very pretty here this morning in a blanket of snow! It started snowing at 2.55pm yesterday - typically just as I was about to go on the school run! It looks really icy now tho, not ventured outside yet.

Got to go do some bits in town later, a trip to the library and asda too...oh joy! DH is still pretending to be asleep....I've even hoovered the bedroom and pulled the curtains with him lying very still......don't you love their ability to ignore stuff that needs doing!

Brekkie --- cereal and fruit
Lunch.....might have lunch out today - which normally ends up as a bag of chips on the cliffs...bliss!
Dinner - HM burgers I think....or pizza....depends what needs using up in the fridge.

Morning everyone

Havent posted for a few days - i have been sorting through DS's bedroom!!!! I emptied it completely and sorted through everything trouble is now i have my bedroom filled with all the bits that are left over and then i started on DD1 and DD2's bedroom and now i wish i hadn't!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OH is off to London for 4 days next week so will be on here a lot more i expect!!!!!! Going to do some cooking for the freezer later and also make some cakes and flapjack for the kids lunchboxes.

good morning everyone,
i've not really been posting during the week because all my days seem the same. but for the last 3 days i've been on a course from work - all about makeing you a better person - raising your self esteem - self belief etc. it isn't my type of thing but i got a few things from it. mainly be more positive.

i have a friend who i met on the web - she is single and lives about 80 miles away from me - we have never spoken but we text and msn lots - but after the course yesterday i said we should meet and maybe we might be the ones for each other - you never know till you try . i hope i haven't scared her off.

My good food magazine arived on my doorstep this morning - so i'll be getting some ideas from that hopefullly.

i'm off to ju jitsu in an hour or so - then back home to watch Bolton beat Arsenal in the FA cup.

Morning all.

Well, after running out of milk last night I thought I'd try porridge without it - have been reading the porridge thread and a lot of people seem to like it that way.
YUK! How can you eat it? Waiting for the milkman to arrive now so I can make some with milk.

Just been sorting out my money, moving it between accounts, and have sent another lump off to my egg card. Want to reduce it as much and as quickly as I can.

Going to get a load of washing through this morning - been away to edinburgh on holiday this week, so got to catch up on all that before its back to work. Then, this afternoon OH and I are going up to my parents. My aunt is holding a burns night supper tonight, so we're all trooping over to Settle.

Had a bit of a stressful afternoon yesterday (OH ex and the children - her mindgames with them) - will bat it of you all later if that is okay once I have had a think about it.

DSD still not well

DSS going to make cheesecake this afternoon - he made one in school this week so want to make one here - will let you know how he gets on.

We are all going for a long walk later - lovely day here
