Bit of a mixed day today.

Went into town and got my new glasses, got a freebie in boots and then went and had my nails done - just a shape and polish - not OS in the slightest I know but I've never been very good at looking after them, it's such a treat to have it done and I think if I'm working then it's worth it.

Anyway have spent the afternoon sewing costumes for a show I'm in and then popped to the out of town shopping centre and got some more freebies/ v cheap stuff in boots and a little stretchy vest top in next free with a £5 gift voucher I got for a birthday present.

OH has made a nice stir fry for dinner too so that's good.

Need to clean my sewing machine now (as it's flithy - mum gave it to me at Christmas it was hers) and have a bath I think - must get on been on my laptop far too long :o

    Morning Red,

Blimey, we're all up late today (well posting late anyway) I've been up all bleeding night with sprogs. Luckily dsd is here today so I will take them for a long walk and let them run around the garden in an effort to tire them out.

Hard frost here today, urs truely left the clothes on the line-AGAIN  last night so they are frozen solid
Baking day here today so am going to make myself a large decaf :coffee: and browse the recipe index.

Hope everyone has had a good sleep, enjoy sunday,
    Al.

Ive prob missed all those offers in Boots, but worth a look just in case.
Apart from that, i have nothing planned at all, its going to be a very non OS day as i will prob treat myself to lunch out as well, as its only me.
Well, off for my shower and then out, hope everyone has a lovely day
    Take care,

    'Morning everyone :hello:

Justing die-ing my hair (I have to watch I don't get too engrossed with OS and leave it on too long!). Had my hair cut yesterday.

Today youngest DD and I are going to Primark for the first time. I've heard great things about the quality and price on MSE so we are going for a meander. Will try to limit the spending :o

It's been frosty here too - actual icicles are hanging outside our bedroom window. I've popped down and banked up the wood burning stove, so the kitchen is nice and cosy now.

Farmer's market sausages for tea (still working our way through our freezer and not buying any meat in January) ... so it will probably be sausage casserole.

Have a lovely OS day everyone :D
Enjoying an MSE OS life :D
  • Morning

Slept for 7hrs last night:eek: its a miracle!! Woken up not tired but in aload of pain...suppose I cant have everything, but am so glad I slept.

WM will go on later and clothes have been drying well on the line, but we have had a good breeze, so blowing them dry IYKWIM. I also dont leave them out there all day or they start getting damp and when bought in a just put on a radiator for 10 mins to heat through. DD has a mark on her bedspread and dont know how to get it off, tried a spray thing yesterday but hasnt touched it:confused: Its a bedspread that goes over the top to look nice and wasnt cheap, apart from this mark its like new...typical! DW will go on after breakfast. Toilet cleaned. DD needs to tidy her room as she should be back to school in the morning.

DD & I need to have a bath this morning as we may be going out later:D 2 lots of PJ's to go in the WM.

Bought DD some great clothes from Hennes on Friday at Bluewater whilst over there watching the film. 3 beautiful gypsy skirts from £13 to £3, 2 tops £3 but one is going back as its way too tight, denim fitted smart jacket £5, pretty summer top £2, 3 pairs of thick tights £1 a pair and a posh outfit (long skirt with patchwork and matching jacket-we have a wedding to attend soon). Not very moneysaving but were all in the sale.

Probably will make another quiche later too as we have a load of bits in the fridge needing using up.

    Breakie-Bacon roll
    Lunch-Jacket Spuds
    Dinner-Not sure as eating out

    Have a good day.
