I had all my questions answered, a little bit of banter and hung up within 2 minutes

I have to be honest and say that when you get through to a call centre in England at HSBC they are always perfectly helpful, polite, friendly and have a bit of banter like you say. It's just doing my head in always getting through to India when calling the business side. I have nothing against the people themselves there, but they never understand what you're asking for, and they just repeat the same line over and over again, and are generally quite rude if you want something more complicated than a balance check. I'm not a horrible person on the phone, and never have problems anywhere else, it's just with them. It's so bad I'm considering (ish) moving accounts. Trouble is all our personal and business accounts are with them, and it's not just as easy as swapping - we have card processing systems in place etc.
Anyway - rant over, sorry.
Going to go put the kettle on and have a cuppa - it's been one of those days. Thankfully DH is nearly home and I'm mega ready for a huge cuddle. Might have a bath early tonight too.
PS - anyone got any tips for pregnancy heartburn?? Havent had any for weeks, but suddenly today it's really painful. She says, being a complete wuss!!I'd rather be a could-be if I cannot be an are; because a could-be is a maybe who is reaching for a star. I'd rather be a has-been than a might-have-been, by far; for a might have-been has never been, but a has was once an are – Milton Berle0 -

Hi All,
Had a good day taking DS to the local mother and toddler droup. Was his first time and he really enjoyed himself. Had a bit a shocking news though. My Aunt who was due to have her baby on March 6th, has had to have an energency C section today, and has had a baby girl weighing 2lb 10oz. Apparently all is well, but thet will have to keep them both in for a while.
Off now to put DS to bed... PowieA woman is like a tea bag. You never know how strong she is until she gets into hot water.:D0 -
Evening
Been in and out of sleep today...think maybe i have something virel
Anyway, clothes dried on airer, folded up and either away or ironing pile. DW will be put on in a bit. Floor swept. Kitchen all tidy. Downstairs tidied through. Bank accounts updated. Phonecalls made.
OH did some more of DD's room and got the blind up:j cleaner wont be pleased as its another wooden blind to do:eek: its looking lovely and real girlie!
OH applied for a web design course 2 weeks ago and found out today that he had been accepted and that the fees had already been paid as we are on IS. Its in 3 blocks and will have a certificate (NVQ3) within 12 months. He;s very pleased and is starting next week. Im glad he is doing something. He was offered a place at University Sept 2005 in Architecture but as my health has detiarated quite badly these last few months-he postponed...which I feel quite guilty about. At least this way, this year wont be a total wasted for him IYKWIM. The uni has left his place open for the next couple of years and were excellent about it all. He wants to work designing roller coasters and in theory has already been offered jobs in Boston/Florida or Australia:D on completion of degree at Greenwich. I would love to do this and its a goal to work towards. He is already a carpenter and decorator by trade, so he's very good at design and maths etc. Always been into computers too and is always fixing other peoples gadgets.
rchddap1-OH & I met at just 13:eek: and my mum had a fit..LOL. We were married at 19, DD at 20 and have now been married for 12 years and both still 31. Still going strong.
Anyway, best go as feeling rough again.
See ya tomorrow.

Evening!
Actually got to work on time today which was good, had a productive day at work, got complimented by the boss (have noticed improved performance! Yey!) and had a chat with a colleague who has the job I want and is now my unofficial mentor to get me there. Im chomping at the bit now, I want it badly so I just need to keep upping my game and continue to improve, and ensure that I dont waste a minute as there is plenty of personal development stuff I can do too. So its good!
Im thinking of buying a moped thing so i dont have to continue on the buses as they are, its beginning to wear me down having to stand around waiting and jostling, im a bit hyperactive at times and need to be moving - so a scooter thing would do that. Cheap too, probably cost me less than the bus on a month by month comparison.
Anyway, going for a bath then bed as have plenty to do tomorrow!
