Morning
Happy Birthday AT!!
Not alot of sleep here again and now my throats hurting, so DD must have bought something back from school. The meds Im on for the Lupus etc means I have no immune system and catch anything going around....lucky me:p
WM is on with light colours, all undies etc and will be dried on airer. DW needs emptying which OH may do when he gets out his pit. Not much else as the cleaner is here today. The beds need stripping, so DD & OH will do that before school already for them to be made up with fresh bedding by cleaner. Everywhere is tidy anyway.
OH is taking his niece (19) out this morning for a coffee and a chat about life and that she has to get her lazy !!!!!! a job. She has so much credit/debt and receives £45pw in jobseekers allowance. She didnt go to school and never did her exams-tried college and lasted about 5 weeks, but she needs a good kick up the bottom and she listens to OH....sometimes anyway.
I am just going to be on sofa today and not moving unless needed to do so. Must remember to get OH to put a repeat perscription in for me today, as Im running low on me strong pain killers:eek:
DD's room looks great and should be finished next week. Dont want him doing anything over the weekend or it will spoil what the cleaner has done as he causes so much dust. Once finished, I will post a picture to show you all...well it has taken him 4 bleeding months..LOL.
Breakie:Shredded Wheat and warm milk
Lunch: OH treating me to a Coronation Chicken Baguette/lettuce and onion
Dinner:Scampi, HM Chips, Onion rings, Peas and bread/butter.
Will try and pop back in later.
Have a good day everyone

Happy Birthday apprentice tycoon!
PP hope you feel better soon
I'm so glad it's Friday. I get my one day off of the week tomorrow. I've been doing 11-12 hour days for the last 2 weeks, and I'm feeling so exhausted. Especially with having to train for that stupid half marathon too.
Had left over steak & kidney pie last night with jacket potato and french beans. I have no idea what's for dinner tonight, but have a bag full of fruit and a sarnie to keep me going today.
Bought a Christmas card for Mum yesterday as they were going half price! Saw some roses on BOGOF so treated my Nan as I think she deserves it.
Pin money is now up to £186 from last July.
Hope all's well with everyoneComping, Clicking & Saving for Change0 -

happy birthday Apprentice Tycoon
PP - hope you are feeling brighter today
Mrs B - hope your heartburn has cleared
Took my HM biscuits into work yesterday and they went down a storm - making more tomorrow along with HM bread
Went to ASDA last night armed with me shopping list (target spend £128) actual spend £160  (this did include a box of wine, 5 reduced pizzas, a pair of jeans, 4 small bottles of wine and some cold meat - I also put £10 on my saver card) - we only now need to buy fresh milk and veg through the month.
OH was great - usually moans but got stuck in - usually he runs away when I look at the reduced bits - no he was the one who spotted the pizzas, picked up Smartprice items when I was picking up the stuff we usually get - he even bought SP baked beans and sausages instead of Heinz (29p v 69p). It was late by the time we got home so had our monthly treat of Chinese - the leftovers are for lunch today
Watched Lost 2 episode 8, 9 and 10 last night - download 11. If you want to know how to DL send me PM and I will let you know
Going out this after work today. We go out every 3 - 4 weeks with OH cousin who has Down Syndrome. He stays with my SIL as his parents are dead. He had a befriender before but he took him to B&Q etc and didnt spend time with him properly. We are going bowling and for something to eat
The last time we went out he asked for a glass of wine with his dinner same as me - which I got him - he does have the odd glass of wine at home but always with a splash of lemonade - nope I got him the same as me- large glass of house white - he had a great time and we had a great laugh in the restaurant. SIL was laughing when we came home as he was so tired with the wine that he was falling asleep - must remember lemonade tonight
B - cereal
L - leftover chinese
D - TBD
Have a lovely Friday all
Take care

AT - Happy birthday!
I'm not usually this early, but was out all day yesterday & will be again today, & this is the first time I have been here since Wednesday.
DH & I are going to some friends for dinner tonight, so only have to feed DS before he goes to Boys' Brigade. Fortunately I found a portion of cooked mince in the freezer, so he can have spagbog.
Haven't done my exercises yet, am just off to do those now......

Morning!
The news is reporting a mumps epidemic at the moment. I had it when I was about 14, I felt fine and then all of a sudden I was so ill I was in bed for days. Hugs to all those with poorly babies at the moment.
Work again today, fingers crossed its another good day like it has been this week, and that I get plenty done. My course is on Monday so im looking forward to that too. HM bread fir breakfast, lentil and bacon soup with hm bread for lunch and dinner is still as yet undecided. Im going to get so fat eating all this bread! At least im having smaller lunches and less snacks though so I suppose the only real sugar im getting is in my tea and in the jam, and I intend to go onto sweetner when the sugar is finished. If I lose weight im going to publish a hm bread diet and storm the world!
Anyway, id better get ready for work as I dont have much to say!

Have had a lazy couple of days so really want to be productive today.
Plan is - clean house from top to bottom. Make Chilli for tea. Change bedding & do ironing (isnt the usual mountain).
Then do weekly filing (nice - last time was a years worth). Have a nice evening with the children.
Tomorrow going to London to see my Nan so she can see the children and then going somewhere nice for lunch.
Sunday - nothing apart from cooking a roast.
Have a good Fri/Weekend.0 -
Morning everyone
I said that I would join in this thread, then I have had a mad week and not had time! I have been training for the last two days and have it again today. Where we have to go for it is putting about 30 minutes on my journey either wayBut I got up earlier this morning and have dried one load of washing in the TD, put another load in which will go on the airer before I go to work, stripped the bed and the bathroom...now I am just going to get dressed and hopefully make the bed before I leave the house.
B: none...no time!
L: sandwichno idea as we have friends coming round and I won't get in from work and the gym till late

Morning everyone!
Happy birthday apprentice tycoon!
PP - hope you get better soon.
Excitement rules as my internet connection in my classroom is working (first time all term). Wooooohooooooooooooooooo. This means that I can come onto MSE as often as I like - may be a problem when the children are here though :rotfl:
OH will be getting some bits and pieces from the staff shop today, so that'll be our veg shop for the next week. This meal planning lark is fantastic. I don't have to think about what to cook OR what to buy from the shops as it's all done for me! Definitely the way forward.
So, a run down of our meals today:
breakfast - cereal (weetabix for him, bran flakes for me - Tesco own brand of both) with milk, cup of tea
lunch - sandwiches, yoghurt, fruit.
supper - tuna napolitana, with a pudding of fruit or a yoghurt or both (life in the fast lane!)
When I get home tonight, the kitchen floor needs cleaning, need to sort out recycling in the garage (hope it's not too cold), put another load in the WM and start to iron the ever increasing pile AGAIN!
Have a good day everyone!

Morning All.HAPPY BIRTHDAY AT
:beer:Well another disturbed night here, I really feel for poor DD, she is so tired but the spots keep her awake as they hurt. I've managed to keep her dosed up on meds tho so shes a bit better than before. Her preschool friends have made her get well cards which is really sweet of them.
BM has just beeped to say its finished (god bless its timer programme), WM is on. Have to empty the airer in a mo to make space-lol. MUST get clean washing put away today, house has been a bit neglected since dd took ill and its getting on dhs nerves (god forbid he should help!).
Got confirmation last night of dds placement in her new school for when we move. I'm really please as its a lovely school with great ofsted reports. Have to get her a uniform now though. Anyone know where the cheapest place is for grey skirts/trousers/tights? Am really excited for her as its 5 mornings a week 8.50am till 12.15pm, she can take packed lunch to eat at school. Be a push for me though as currently find it hard to be at school in the next street with the 3 kids at 9.30am and the new one is 1.5 miles away! Think of the lbs I will loose.
Righto, off to make coffee, have a good day all.
