    Morning All

Hugs to everyone who is ill/has ill ones ot look after/didn't sleep last night. Hopefully things will be a bit better for you all by the weekend?:grouphug:

Rchddap1, at least your partner is smiling about it, for whatever reason, and not blowing his top. Has to be a good sign? And quite honestly, getting engaged at 16 she needs to get used to having fun poked at her, a lot of people aren't going to take her seriously!

Having got on top of my ebaying & wayward budget this week, todays tasks are to sort out the freezer so that I can make an accurate shopping list for tonight and if I get a chance to try & source a local organic meat box delivery (anyone have this in the Surrey area?). 1st organic fruit & veg box arrives at the end of this month iin order to tie in with Feburays budget:D.

Smokey & PP : Whats this abotu downloading the next series of Lost???????? How have I missed this opportunity & how do I go about it please??

    Cheers all:coffee:

    Good morning everyone,
Hugs for all that need it today, especially the little ones!!!
My DD was an absolute star yesterday at the dentist, she had to have a filing, and the dentist had said she would numb her mouth with gel, but used an injection instead, and she was so brave!!! I gave her the chance to stay home with me in the afternoon, but she wanted to go back to school, so i had a couple of hours to myself, trouble is, it happens so infrequently, i didnt know what to do, so did nothing!!!!!
Today i have been very busy, beds striped, WM on, DW loaded and ready to go, fairy cakes made (just need to ice them) and HM tomato and veg soup cooking in the oven (smells lovely!!) so im now having a coffee and a go on the computer whilst childminding ones are watching Dora the Explorer!!!
Anyway, hope everyone has a good day
    Take care

    Good morning!

Have today off work so the plan is to be super organised and sort out the junk in my room and get rid of some clothes I don't wear anymore. I must declutter. I must.

I brought some celery last night so shall also have a proper go at making the Italian farmhouse tomato soup from the soupsong website. With all the correct ingredients. It was delicious without the celery last week. So I am drooling at the thought it is with it in. My other Single Living With Parents friends are mega impressed that I can do stuff like this. I keep trying to convert them. :A

Episode 2x11 of Lost is currently on the D/L. That will have to be my reward for tidying my room. Anyone want some hints on how to download PM me. ;)

Have been really good all week and brought sandwiches into work every day. I've either had ones that I've frozen in bulk (cheese or corned beef with apple chutney from a farmers market on tiger bread) or posh ones my mother gets reduced from Waitrose and Sainsburys.

Have cut back on the amount of coffee that I drink at work and have been drinking green tea. Doesn't look very nice and doesn't really taste of anything. But I must persevere. It's good for the metabolism.

I don't post everyday but I do read so thank you everyone for inspiring me to become more oldstyle.

Hope all the poorly children and grown ups get better soon. rose.gif

    Morning campers!

Bed late sorting finances out (DH's work ones, not personal ones). To be awoken at 03:00 with DD screaming, took DH until 04:00 to settle her, but settle her he did.

Consequently when she came bouncing in at 07:00 all we wanted to do was bury our heads under a pillow! LOL!

Well, yesterday I did the rounds ... Rhythm Time for DD, Mother and Toddler group, charity shop meander (Noddy video for DD - 99p, she'll be a happy bunny!), market for veg, two farm shops for meat ... and then on impulse and the fact that DD finally decided to fall asleep in the car a "quick" trip to Wing Yip in Birmingham .... so now we are the proud owners of a very very very large tub of bicarb and erm, 20litres of vinegar!

So, someone remind me what can I do with this 'ere bicarb!

Last night made another batch of marmalade and a huge batch of leek and potato soup (enough for 9 adult portions and 4 littley portions)

Can you freeze HM biscuits? That is, if they don't get eaten on the way!

Hope all the LO's feel better soon. It really is no fun is it.

DH has just discovered he's got to go to the US next wk on business, so he is instructed to go shopping for DD's clothes! But is there anything OS that he may be able to source, thinking caps on please!

Pre-B - cup of orange/lemon/ginger tea for me, milk for DD, sleep for DH!
B - 3 HM biscuits and cuppa tea
L - leak and potato soup with "reduced" bread from Tesco
D - dunno, maybe pork chops with veg risotto

Work today :(, tonight I must sort out DD's clothes that she has outgrown as they are taking over the world, quite literally I think I could clothe 10 children!

    Ciao for now.

Hope yall big-uns and little-uns are starting to feel better soon (hug)

Taking an early lunch today cos I want to go out for a ramble this afto if it stays dry. I plan to pop round to me next door neighbours (a farm 1 mile up the road) and see if they have any eggs. I love tudging down the lane in me wellies, it's right muddy and makes ya feel good to be alive. I may even take a detour through the wood. I avoid the days the beaters and shooting parties are out cos I want to come back alive. I also avoid wearing a red coat and talking to wolves for the same reason.:D hehehehe

Cleaned downstairs today and notice how grubby the carpets are still looking now I've laundered all the sofa covers:rolleyes: That's next weeks fun planned!
Laundry done. Paid2click done, Dustbins to empty and then I'm outa here:j .
Mrs MATH is not home tonight so the kidz and I shall have something junky on trays while watching Richard Hammond at 5.

    Have a good day

All quiet here - feels very strange knowing that I don't have to drop everything at 3pm to go and get DD :( Plus even more strange, OH has just told me he needs to get some work done tonight so I can have the computer while he works on his laptop! Today feels so strange, maybe its all the tea I've been drinking lately? I think I'm onto cup number 4 so far today - at least it isn't coffee or coke!

DD's friends mum has just text me so I now have her mobile number, not so worried about her going around there tonight now. :D

Ebay listings are going slowly. Should speed up now though since I've updated all the "save for future listings" info and auto-text, only took me 2 hours to get the HTML right! To think I used to do HTML in my sleep! Ah well, off to put the milk in my tea and get on with the listings

    Hiya everyone

Late start for me. After sending DS1 to school and sorting DS2 out, retired to my pit with my brekkie to watch Martin on The Wright Stuff.

Since then, sorted laundry, DW on, SC on, played board games with DS2 and made lunch. This afternoon I intend to mop kitchen floor and maybe sort understairs cupboard out, as well as play some more with DS2. Need to make some more bread but currently discussing options with squeaky on msn as I type this :D:D

Also need to make a nice veggie soup for my tea as others will be having the pork steaks in the SC. I've just cooked my pulses so they are ready to go in.

Actually - started this ages ago so now BM is on and just need to do floor :D Must rush

Hugs to all in need and I'm sure I'll catch up with some of you personally lateron
