Hugs to Kiwichick and DD - hope everythings going ok.

Have had quite a productive early evening - but have now flopped in front of the tele with my laptop :o

Need to get my eyes tested again and my contact lenses have gone up .25 for each eye, haven't had any changes for several years - I reckon at least 5 but that means I'll need new glasses I reckon so more money

Got a couple of aromotherapy candles for free from boots thanks to freebies/quick grab it threads :j (although I am supposed to be restricting acquiring freebies :o)

Been to sainsburys too and didn't do too badly with my supermarket shop - got some stuff reduced and on offer etc and have been better at buying things to make from stratch this week :T

I'm off now must do a few bits then get an earlish night - loads to do tomorrow.

    Sleep well all.

PS - Glad you've made me so jealous wish I could go to Ikea - don't have that enough time and don't fancy a drive down the motorway in the dark to Ikea at the moment - enjoy your bargains.

Yorkie Lass - depending on how often you wear glass, try glassesdirect.co.uk

I got mine for £15 - okay, they are not the sturdiest frames in the world, but you only need an eye test (make sure you ask for your pupilary distance too as opticians do not normally provide this!)
For £15, mine are great for wearing out - just not with the babes around - I need to spend a bit more money for that!

    Morning everyone

I am up very early today, but don't mind as I went to bed at 9.00 pm last night and slept like a baby for about six hours. I might be able to squeeze another hour or two in, just wanted to start this thread while I'm up and about.

Kiwichick, I hope your little one is OK, let us know what's happening.

Not a lot out of the ordinary going on in the land of SnowyOwl, just another work day.

    B = porridge
L = pasta + tinned tomatoes + whatever I can find in the cupboard
D = tuna steak courtesy of Sainsbury's reduced section, just 69p! Will boil up some spuds and have some sort of veg with them.
Snacks = fruit, yoghurt and more fruit. Must keep away from sweetie machine at work, evil contraption...

HOLstar, hope your exams continue to go well. Mine are over whoopee!! Will return my books to the library today - and get out a book designed for enjoyment...

Bye all, happy Thursday to you.

    'Morning everyone :hello:

A normal working day here as well, Snowy Owl ... but only two more days until the weekend :D

Had bulgar wheat for the first time last night and it was lovely. There is a little bit left over so I'm going to add it to my lunch time salad. Still working our way through the freezer and storecupboard ... so I haven't decided what to make for this evening's meal.

Now I'm off to read some of the new threads :D

Have a lovely OS day everyone
Enjoying an MSE OS life :D

Thanks for the Lost tip smokey - ive been wondering when it would be available to download!

Its going to be a quick one today as im going to try and leave earlier today, the bus was on time (usually gets me into work at 8.30) but didnt arrive till 9.05am as there was a lot of traffic around for some reason (i was getting more annoyed by the minute). Im going to try nd get an earlier bus and then need to buy a scooter/moped thing as its getting more than annoying now!

I got paid just now and im not entirely sure why, it looks a little light if im honest and am wondering if ive been paid properly (if I have then I certainly dont earn enough for the amount I do!). Ill pay all the bills online this evening as I dont have time now, but I have sent the full CC amount.

Yesterday was a good day at work even though I was late and managed to do a lot, although ive got a lot to do today too. At least im not bored, that would be worse!

Breakfast is hm bread and jam (I think my water was a touch hot as it didnt rise enough) and lunch will be a mystery freezer box, and dinner will be something from tesco as I need to do my shopping when I get home from work.

    Have a lovely day all!

    Jo xx
