sit back and enjoy the confusion that apple is supplying ....its all free you know...well for the time being ..you may be charged at a later date ..but till then let them confuse.....thier very good at it you know

good for you, may I also be bold to suggest that if everyone filled in the bbc watchdog online form (it will only take a minute ) then perhaps this would be a joint venture that may just may make apple wake up to the shoddy treatment they have dished out

Regarding that second email, I smell a fake!

All emails from them start Dear Apple Store Customer

and end in The Apple Store <- note the space!

If you read the Nikon 5200 discussion thread http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=129122&page=2 then you will see that the email refers to people who ordered the Nikon but receoved a message about the Olympus camera. It looks as though they sent the email to all customers, not just ones who ordered the mis price.

So this email does not refer to customers who ordered the Olympus.
