Olympus E-1 Digital SLR - £98.70 (Apple Education Store) [CLOSED]

Apple Store UK have the Olympus E-1 SLR which normally retails for £700ish listed as £98 if you go through their Education Store.

You or your dependents need to be in some form of education to qualify.

It seems a lot like a mis-price as it is still listed at £600+ on their main site, but it is worth a go just in case it is some sort of mega promo for schools. It is currently going for £1099 on Jessops.com, lol

I've clicked on the Education link and found the E1 but it's priced at £599. Can't see a £98 one anywhere.

My son has just ordered this and he is home from Uni at the moment. He said choose the third option (which is just Education) and it lets you type in the establishment you are attending. Hope this helps and good luck (I hope you both get them!)

you need to click through the Education link on the home page of Apple Store. Far right hand column it says about Education discounts. When you are buying you have to declare which establishment you attend etc.

Still working for me! Around £600 if you are not in the education section.

Apple are good at checking this and if they don't like it, they simply cancel the order!!

Got a feeling these will all be cancelled anyways cause that's a serious mis-price!

Once you select 'Education' chosse 'United Kingdom' and then 'Apple Store for Education', once you have done this enter your school or univeristy details and then choose 'I Accept' and search in the upper right hand corner for the camera. Itis still discounted. Enjoy!!!

How do you access the education store if you are not at uni at the moment? I can only get onto the irish education store where the camera is 99 euros.
