I buy from Apple Education store all the time and have only once been phoned to prove my Student Status (but I am a Univeristy student so its ok!). Oh, and I have received my confimation of the order from Apple... now I have to wait for delivery confimation...

Yes a university student I am only ordering one for my own use - those who are ordering more than that are making an obvious statement that apple will see and then cancel all orders - gee thanks!

and a rush from 200 people to buy a digital camera that is normally 600quid for 100quid isnt making an obvious statement

Yes this will get ruined by the Ebay profiteers within the next 1/2 hour or so. Mark my words Apple will cotton on to this and cancel everything so nobody will get the benefit. :mad:

I'm just hoping that Apple will do thorough checks on ALL orders for this item and that those people who are not eligible or try to bend the truth are caught out - pity that Apple wouldn't be able to name & shame them too!

Is this just the body? Or does it have a lens as well? If not, does anyone know what sort of prices you are looking at for the extra lens etc you need?
