Maybe they will ask for your NUS number if you seem suspicious, i.e. outside the typical student age
  • This seems too good to be true though. £99? How could they mis price it so much?

I am doing Journalism BA(Hons) at Bournemouth uni, so it is for educational purposes, and even if the second one doesnt go on ebay, I know my lecturer will want it......

Perhaps I should have been more specific and said..... in relation to acceptance of multiple purchases made via the education section. ;)

Yes - when they checked me 2 years ago for a Laptop purchase they wanted to know my NUS number and where I study. They said that they might want further checks - such as a letter from my department Secretary... but they never actually went that far in the end, my NUS number was good enough.

Very strange considering that my NUS number is a local one relevant only to my University as I couldn't find my national number (my Uni has two seperate cards, one local and one national).
Truly great madness can not be achieved without significant intelligence
  • I've just ordered one - I teach at local primary school. How will they check I work there? Maybe Dfes number will be required. :)

    Hello,

Can anyone pls advise me on how to get to this offer. eachtime I click on the educational page it tells me I do no have permission to do so. I dont fancy the 100+ mile journey to Manc Uni.

Surely most of you are getting this offer from home as its the hols.
