yeah i contacted watchdog also, im never normally one for filling these sort of things in, but i feel if we can get a bit of a momentum going then we stand a chance.


......so all you other lurkers like me out there who normally wouldnt click on the watchdog link, then please do so, just this once :-)

Watchdog informed - Job done. I have also spoken to trading standards who i will be going to see on thursday. That should be interesting at least as they are meant to be impartial in these issues.

I too have filled in the form for Watchdog, as well as sending my letter to Apple.

Me too!

Just calm down people. You can't miss what you never had.... Apple are no more in the wrong than we are (exploiting a clear mistake rather than informing them of their error).

I didn't order this item as I'm not a student or teacher but have been reading this thread with some amusement. The same old stuff comes out, doesn't it - misprice, company cancels, shocked indignation at not getting something for very little, then people all start whining and mentioning TS, Watchdog, yadayadayada.

I can't remember how many times this has happened before and how many times people have said leave it, move on but nobody listens so here you go again :rolleyes:

I hope all those of you who are contacting TS/Watchdog/whoever were genuine education customers otherwise you're going to look rather silly, if not fraudulent.
