they may try and say that updated terms and conditions were changed before any orders were placed!
the cheeky buggers!
Check your confirmation emails as mine says that
Terms and Conditions
Please note that your order will be subject to the Apple Store terms and conditions of purchase, which can be found at http://promo.euro.apple.com/promo/helpmenu/ind/uk/ind_salespolicies.html
Now i cannot see in the link above where it states a missprice
Are they being crafty and i wonder if by the morning then the contents of those Ts and Cs will have changed also ?donstermonster0 -
They may have changed the general education terms and conditions... but the terms and conditions associated with the purchase confirmation have not yet been changed... click your link in the confirmation email or follow this link:

Might be worth making a copy of these T&C's whilst they're still there...Truly great madness can not be achieved without significant intelligence0 -
If anyone is interested - here's a PDF of the original terms and conditions that were associated with my original order.Truly great madness can not be achieved without significant intelligence0

harryc wrote:ummm is anyone sure when the terms where changed , ie after we all ordered and in the last day or so . surley then these terms couldnt be applied to orders already accepted. ......
They were definately changed. There was much discussion and breaking down of the T&Cs in another forum where I'm more active and saw this deal. That's where I saw the change (it was the Irish T&Cs that were reported but I did a quick change or irl to uk and the same change was there).
As for applying them retrospectively who knows. No doubt that isn't legal but they may try it. Again, tomorrow will tell...we hope.0 -

(iii) if there was a pricing error on the Apple Store for Education Institutions Web Site.
Can't believe how they would try and quietly and cowardly add that to the terms without even having the decency to 'tell'/email us with any apology first!
But on the other terms, the unammended ones, from
http://promo.euro.apple.com/promo/helpmenu/ind/uk/ind_salespolicies.html they say :4. Prices
4.1 The price for the Products will be the price indicated on your Invoice.
:xmastree: :rotfl: noobs
edit - just to make it clear I'm not taking this that seriously - and like many others will not be making a fuss when we get our cancellation emails.
But I'm just annoyed at the way they've tried to get out of it without even emailing us to admit their fault0 -
Have just checked my online banking, with it now longer being a bank holiday. My available balance is still £98.70 down... we shall see what occurs!0

money saving my @rse.
I've spent 10x as much as I would if I had never discovered this website :-)

There's some quotes of the T&Cs from page 5 onwards. Nothing new/different from here really but trawl through it if you'd like.
Better off waiting until later today - working hours perhaps. There's not a whole lot of point in speculating. Apple know themselves what they're going to do about it.0 -
