  • I will do, just checked, and no payment, ive got a feeling the buyer is going to send the phone back and claim it was faulty etc however I have his text messages saying that he will pay so that should be no problem.

Jaffa n Ashy OK, I stand corrected! This sucks even more! :(

Makes me even more wary of Paypal.
Bless Martin's Little Cotton Socks. I thank him for giving us MSE. Look what its grown into!

  • If he sends it back, make sure it IS actually your phone, and not some other one that he's picked up which might be faulty or something. Somehow I think its unlikely and i'd still have barred it before now. You're being taken for a ride mate.

  • I will wait till 12 oclock 2moro, Ill start filling in the forms at 11 if he still hasn't paid. I think I remember him saying a while ago his girlfriend works in the courts and that he works in a bank but I think that was all lies and even if its true, I will have a strong court case.
Just check my paypal account and still no payment!
  • This person is a complete b*****d and is now trying to intimidate you. Get the phone barred IMMEDIATELY - he will suffer as a consequence - do not think of other people if he has sold it on. Think of you! Is there any way we can collectively report him to ebay and get him expelled before he does it to someone else? I am fuming on your behalf. Oh and by the way make sure the claim is for the full amount not less the £20 goodwill gesture you made after he initially intimidated you. Sorry I can't be more helpful good luck x
  • just checked now, still no sign of the money, by the looks of it there will be a claim, im just worried he might come up with some twisted story to defend himself.Im really tempted to post his mobile number here so you can all call him and have a go at him pretending you're my family (dad, uncle, aunty etc.) so he gets scared thinking my whole family is backing me!

It doesn't matter what story he comes up with - he bid, he should pay.

Send the claim in immediately, keep us posted and good luck.
