  • Same here I can still log back into icesave account and it looks like I could go all through the initiate claim procedure again although I logged back out before it went that far. I have printed off the claim confirmation page but have not had an email confirming my claim yet.

    Hi - in exactly the same position - no 2nd email just did it - but if you try to initiate again you get a screen saying something to the effect that you have already done it

    No confirmation email for me yet - bit stressed about that but if nothing arrives by tomorrow there is a number to ring so will probably do that.

    My 2nd arrived at 12:05 today.

    Just got home and succesfully transferred funds.

    Won't be happy until I see it in my Bank Acc
  • Logged in before receiving 2nd email and was able to initiate all 3 accounts at about 1330. AT 1630 received 2nd email + 3 confirmation emails.Good luck to all still waiting.

    You should get a confirmation e mail returned by the FSCS within minutes, if you did not, I would guess your claim has not been initiated. Good Luck hope claim was a success.

    What I don't understand with the 'Initiate' payment process is why there appears to be a typing test in it. Why do you have to copy the amount at the top of the page, showing how much you are going to get, into the claim box at the bottom of the screen? What if you type the wrong amount in?

    on both accounts, just says if you can't see any options below, you cannot initate your claim. wait for your second email.

    How come other people can initiate claims with no second email ????


    With christmas looming i need my money back, as we have just got married & i need to clear the wedding bills.

    So until then i am just paying interest on the debts until i can clear them, so being prudent did not pay off for me.

    My account was like that for a few hours. I initiated my claim around 5pm - by 10pm I could still log on. Following morning I could not log in any more and had received the confirmation email around 4am.
  • I received my 1st email on 6 Nov and this afternoon, despite not having received my 2nd one, I accessed my Icesave a/c and was allowed to "initiate" both my savings and ISA a/cs. I logged out and was able to login again despite being warned that I would not be able to. I'm now in the position that I don't know whether my money will be moved or not; anyone any ideas?:confused::confused::confused:

    Just checked my email and confirmation has come through from FSCS that My money will be with me in 5 working days!:D :D:D:D ........The moral of my story is "you mightn't have to wait for a 2nd email", so all you still waiting, GO FOR IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AND GOOD LUCK.
