Received my 2nd email lunchtime today but only saw it this evening. Just initiated my claim but had problems with the website - probably very busy from others using it too. But all done now & waiting for the funds and the elusive ISA certificate. :j :j :j :j :j :j :j :j :j :j

Received mines at 17:03 today. The site has been up and down, when I hit confirm, the site crashed and I waited 3 minutes for it to come back alive. I had to relogin and resubmit the same form. Lets hope my money arrives soon.

Both me and the final one of my relatives who was also still waiting received our icesave email invites today to claim compensation, the website seemed to be struggling as both our sessions timed out on the first "confirm" screen, but when we logged in again the rest of the processes for all our accounts (easy access, ISA and fixed) worked without problems or timing out. Update - 1 hour 20 minutes later three emails with subject "Claim" confirming that the FSCS has received my "instructions".

Many thanks to everyone who has taken time to post to this forum, it has really been a great help to the four of us in this family who had savings accounts in icesave to have access to accurate and timely information and advise concerning how the compensation process was progressing in this forum.

I had never considered for a moment what would happen if a bank collapsed in this way, the last 6 weeks has been a real rollercoaster ride, I will never see banks in the same light again, thanks again to the FSCS and the forum members here.
  • I received my 1st email on 6 Nov and this afternoon, despite not having received my 2nd one, I accessed my Icesave a/c and was allowed to "initiate" both my savings and ISA a/cs. I logged out and was able to login again despite being warned that I would not be able to. I'm now in the position that I don't know whether my money will be moved or not; anyone any ideas?:confused::confused:

My first email received 11 Nov.

    Second arrived today 24 Nov.

Logged in, initiated, printed confirmation off. Now a wait for a few days for the BACS.
