Just received my 2nd invite email timed @ 14.06.
May I take this opportunity to wish everyone luck who are yet to receive the invitation email.
And I would also like to extend my sincere gratitude to the FSCS who I feel have dealt with this extraordinary situation swiftly and positivity.0 -
Just received email (13:51) to allow other half to initiate a claim on our joint account and his ISA, I am now waiting on my email to initiate my isa.
Phew, that's a relief on 2/3's of our money, now I will have to wait for my invite. Fingers crossed it comes soon.
Well done to the ones that have initiated, and to others still waiting (& myself) hope the emails come soon.Everything has its beauty but not everyone sees it.0 -

And also Gordon Brown for his generosity in not making us wait for Iceland to pay up and Alistair Darling and the treasury for making good the funds above the £50k compensation limit.
Well - they can do with a bit of goodwill at the moment.:rudolf:

Help! I'm doing the claim now - went through fine for my fixed rate account and regular accounts (payment via BACS to my nominated account) but for the ISA, the only option is a BACS transfer - how do I request an ISA certificate please?
Many thanks0 -
Thanks - so do I have to choose BACS transfer anyway, or will that stop the certificate being sent out and actually pay it into my account?0

Just did my initiation claims for Icesave, WITHOUT the second e-mail!
I was trying to login using Firefox, but it kept (endlessly!) timing out!
Then tried using IE, and that worked OK. I had 2 accounts to initiate and both times, I got "network not available" screens, but used the back button and eventually they both (I think!) went through OK.
Funny thing, immediately after this (a few minutes literally!) the second e-mail arrived!0 -
