  • Got my 2nd e-mail a while back and funds received. However, after 2 weeks from 2nd e-mail - still no ISA certificate. Anyone else have this problem?

  • I haven't received my second e-mail yet, but when I logged in today I could start the claim process.

    The "Claim Date" was shown as 25/11/08, so I presume they activated my account for claiming yesterday. I logged in yesterday at 2:30 and couldn't start my claim, so it was after that time that they activated it.

    I've still not got my 2nd email but i haven't been logging in because of the warnings on the Icesave website telling you not to do so!

    Is there no harm in doing this though? Wouldn't want to set the process back even further...
  • I got my email today at 13.21 and have activated it. Hoping the dosh might even sneak in there before the weekend...Phew.

    Right, now to research new ISAs.

    I think a quite a few people on here have done this without any problems. I hadn't bothered until yesterday but thought I may as well give it a try. Nothing happened, there was just a message saying I couldn't initiate yet. I can't see the harm in trying now and again.

  • After moaning this morning that I still hadn't got mine, its just arrived and i've done the transfer now.

    One funny thing though is that it asked me how much I wanted to transfer out. Would anyone seriously leave some in!?!?!
  • Still waiting. But now received a series of emails from FSCS claiming my email address does not match that registered to the account. The original email address has not changed but is now displayed as upper case on the Icesave page. But there is no difference between upper and lower case email addresses so what are they up to?
    However I have re-entered the email addresses just to make sure.
    Fingers still crossed......
  • After logging in and not being able to initiate this morning, my second email finally arrived this afternoon and the claim process seems to have gone smoothly.

    Edit: I also had a claim date of 25/11 which was yesterday. Bit odd. I certainly wasn't able to claim yesterday, as I did try, twice, and this morning I couldn't log in at all at first. So they may have had to fix something behind the scenes.
  • Logged on and was able to initiate both claims for myself and my wife's ISA's. Money on its way back from the cold.
