31/10 MONEY ARRIVED0 -
Second email arrived now ... after I claimed the money ... amazing stroke of luck. I claimed the money ... while FSCS were in process of posting it ... Mail went straight in the SPAM bucket, but I saw it coming ... as I expected it to come any second now.
Nice one, SunKing. What a pleasant surprise! Just tried again for the 2nd time today and still no joy. I'm beginning to wonder if I'll ever be permitted to claim!0 -
2nd email received this afternoon, haven't logged on yet.0

second received for my parents account. have logged in and done the deed but it took a while as it was very slow and sometimes had to refresh. i guess from the amount of ppl online?
now i just need mine lol0 -
What's the latest feelings on people with fixed terms opting to keep the money invested to the end of the original term please? Is there any clarification in the 2nd email?0
-
Exactly. I am the best example unfortunately... I received my 1st e-mail on the 4th Nov, no sign of the 2nd one as yet...
I hope everyone else gets their 2nd e-mails soon and can then get their money back and not have to worry about it. I received my first e-mail on the 4th as well but received my second on the 14th and having initiated claim on 15th (saturday) I received funds in my linked current account on 19/11 (wednesday).
Keep the faith peeps, your time will come. Fingers crossed for everyone still waiting."A weak currency arises from a weak economy, which in turn is the result of a weak government" - Gordon Brown 1992 -0 -
Got my second e mail 10 minutes ago, and have made claim.
I am delighted with this result, and the speed with which it has been sorted.
I was expecting to be waiting until next year, and initially fearful of getting all my money back at all.
Well done FSCS.0 -

My wife did not receive the first email and neither did I until I switched off the Eclipse ISP Spamtrap. I then received the first email, however my wife still didn't get the first email.
So I followed the advice from FSCS which promptly generated the first email. To which she returned a blank response. Which generated another copy of the first email. To which she responded, as advised in FAQ 8, with the word "CONFIRM". Which generated a copy of email No. 1.........
Anyone want a copy - we've got plenty. But no email No.2 yet .....
Patience being tested to the limit here - and this large builder gentleman still waiting to be paid. HELP!0 -
I got my first email quite promptly on 5th Nov - thought no more re the joint account with husbands name first.
Got the second email today - but cannot initiate the claim on the joint account - did the other 3 .
Rang and had to send blank!!! email to FSCS and told to wait for first and second email - they seemed surprised that we had the same email address!!!
Anyone else had to do this?0 -
I had to change my husbands email address on his Icesave account as they kept sending me the first email again in my name. Seems to have worked he now has 3 first emails!!!0
