  • I didn't even get my first email until 14 November.
I log in at least once a day and try to initiate the claim anyway.
  • Don't worry, the second emails are on their way ... had mine this morning and initiated no problem.

    Don't forget don't log-off until you've claimed on all your accounts - once log-off has been done you'll be iced-out ....

I’m still waiting for my 2nd email and keep checking my junk folder online with my ISP as my 1st email was found in there on 6th November, 2 days after it was sent. I’m waiting for 38K to be transferred to my nominated account and I have opened a NatWest ISA ready. It wasn’t easy opening the ISA as the NatWest adviser hadn’t even heard of Icesave and after I explained the situation she told me that I couldn’t open the account. I had already spoken to a member of staff at head office earlier in the week who made the appointment for me at my local branch so that I could take my completed transfer form and ID in to open the account so I insisted that the adviser rang head office for clarification, which she eventually did after speaking to other members of staff in the branch who were also clueless. The adviser then proceeded to open the account and told me to come in again with the ISA transfer form when I had received the money and ISA certificate.

I hope the 2nd email comes soon as once the funds have been transferred to my nominated account I will still have to wait up to 2 weeks for the certificate to arrive before I can transfer my ISA. I keep thinking about the interest that I haven’t been earning since 8th October but I’m also grateful for the fact that I will be getting all of my money back.
  • It would really help and calm the nerves, if FSA could just display a bar chart by hour of the day to show us how many 2nd emails are sent out and how many transfers are taking place. I expect every one has got their first emails by now, other wise they can display that as well.

No second email yet, but got all the money out of KaupthING yesterday.

And me. Theres loads of November 4thers that dont seem to have had any "luck" thus far.
  • To all my fellow ICESAVE victims :
I have not got the second mail .... I said I have not got my second email I checked at the ISP end and thoroughly through all my junk and deleted mails ... But the good news is I tried ... as every day I do to sign on to my account and suddenly ( 10 Minutes ago ) I saw a notification that I can claim my money. I went through the process and now wait for the money to turn up. So if you go on trying, you do not go to the bottom of the queue but at the near top .... I tried every day and today I succeded, without getting the second email. Hurrrrrrray

Still waiting for 2nd email for self & wife.
Had a call from local Natwest branch today after visiting for info last week when like yours, they knew nothing.
They now tell me Natwest will allow a transfer into new ISA cash from Icesave with the certificate at the current transfer rate of 5.94%. This will drop by the bonus of 1.76% after 12 months. However this is a variable rate so could alter over the period.

Exactly. I am the best example unfortunately... I received my 1st e-mail on the 4th Nov, no sign of the 2nd one as yet...

same here, wonder if everytime you log in you end up at the back of the list, would explain why i havent got my second e mail

:j It seems you are put at the near top rather than bottom of the queue. Just about 10 Minutes ago I logged on to my ICESAVE account .... as every day I do .. No the second email is not yet got to me .... but I could initiate the process without seeing the second email, No email in any of my boxes or the ISP ...but my money is on its way.
  • Second email arrived now ... after I claimed the money ... amazing stroke of luck. I claimed the money ... while FSCS were in process of posting it ... Mail went straight in the SPAM bucket, but I saw it coming ... as I expected it to come any second now.
