I understand your point (I think), but I did get my goods and therefore it IS money saving!!

Are you suggesting that if one reads a negative feedback review on this forum, you should not deal with that company?

If you are suggesting that, then I would not have got my deal. And in any case, one or two people did leave good reviews on this forum.

I know that some reviews are fake (you accused me of leaving a fake review - so it is perhaps difficult to fathom out which are real and which are not), but you have to make a choice at some point. Some people (you I guess) would not have made the decision I made, and would have shopped elsewhere. You may have got the same items and paid a bit more, but had the "comfortable feeling" that you will not be ripped off.

I took a little chance, and was soon rewarded with the goods I wanted at the best price. So I feel good too.

I thought it was worthy of posting positive coments about this compamy due to my good experience. Who knows, perhaps the bad reviews are all fake!

I agree it is difficult to tell which are genuine and which are fake reviews. But as a general rule most fake reviews tend to be positive.

If there had just been 1 or 2 bad reviews, then I would have just thought that it could be fussy customers. However the high number would put me off taking the risk.

My comment on this thread months ago was that I had a positive experience with this store, not all good reviews are fake reviews. I also had a good review for Pixmania which has been slated. Maybe I have been lucky and bought either unpopular products that have been sat on a shelf for ages, or popular products that are in constant demand and readily available

It sounds like you have been lucky.

If retailers never got it right, then they would be out of business. However what makes good customer service is how they handle problems when they do arise.
  • I've purchased from this company in 2009 the main things i have purchased were a highchair, and 2 pushchairs, i can't remember having any issues with delivery but the packaging all the items arrived in were disgusting, they were bashed about, looked like they'd been opened and also one of the pushchairs and the highchair smelt very strongly of smoke, the pushchair was terrible not just the packaging the actual pushchair smelt too so i haven't ordered from this company since and won't again i find kiddicare.com better:A
  • AVOID THIS COMPANY!!

Ordered a car seat for our 1 year old. When it arrived the packaging was awful and for a safety product I was slightly concern. Anyway Precious Little One couldn't have cared less. I then questioned about all of the parts and again they couldn't have been less concerned!

Happy to give refund which I eventually got after chasing and chasing for but they have their terms and conditions which they kept on pointing out. Always charged me £15 to pick up the item!!! How kind!!!

Anyway long and short if you want good quality products, well packed, great customer services and quick responses to your email DO NOT USE PRECIOUS LITTLE ONE. Will never use them again and have warned everyone of them. More than likely run by people who have no interest in the nursery industry but more concerned about ££££££.

  • I ordered a babystyle pram in july,i finally recieved it 4 weeks later which i wasnt impressed with as it clearly stated delivery within a few days.. the item i recieved was not what i ordered so got in touch with PLO and they sent someone that day (royal mail) for return.. im still waiting for my money even though they told me it would be transfered into my account once the item was recieved. now i cant get through as the fone lines are constantly engaged which i think is a scam as ive had family members, friends and all my work mates ring constantly in one day and none of us got through.. it is so destressing as they obviously lie constantly to customers that have paid good money which by the way is taken from your account the minute u place the order.. my son is now 8 week old and i still dont have a pram, and still cant get through to them. please help
  • I have to add to these emails about the poor service from precious little ones. I soooo wish I had read these forums before looking at their website and buying from them when I could had bought the items from another retailer.

I placed an order for a nursery set on the 4th Dec and despite the website saying items were in stock and charging my credit card, most were not.

The last item finally reached me on the 14th Jan and only from me constantly chasing and follow up trying to find out what had happened. There is no proactive communication and almost delaying tactics used to avoid having to acknowledge that they take your money at the point of order and then the actual delivery can take 6 weeks. For an online company I was shocked.

Their customer service team blamed the post for a missing item and when I asked about a good will gesture was point blankly refused. They are completely missing the point about customer service. When you wait 6 weeks from the point of order and was asking about a £10 goodwill gesture (which was less than 10% of the original order) you know that they are not interested in long term customer loyalty!

I would never shop with them again and would advise anyone thinking about it to consider alternatives where there is a no quibble, customer orientated approach. Way too difficult to deal with in comparison to other retailers out there.
  • Wish I had done my homework and found this thread before placing an order for order for a car seat on 6th Jan. The seat was the cheapest I could find, but it arrived with a huge crack in the carry handle. It's impossible to get through to customer services by telephone, the line's constantly engaged.

In frustration I opened a paypal dispute and after about 1 week PLO offered to collect the car seat, this took several days to arrange. The seat is now back with them over a week and they're now saying they'll refund only AFTER I've closed the paypal dispute. Paypal say not to close the case unless you're 100% happy as the case can't be re-opened.

Until this is resolved I'm over £100 out of pocket, just glad I didn't go ahead and order the nursery furniture from these people.
