Precious Little One - Grantham

Options
Ordered from this company located in Trent Road, Grantham last week. Didn't get a tracking number although goods going with Parcelforce48 as stated on their website. Not answering phone calls or e-mails so contacted Parcelforce. They haven't collected from them since 1st October 2008.

My relatives in Sheffield also ordered from them and are getting zero response. Don't order from them. They are still live on the website.

  • Hi, I also ordered on Thursday, but received my baby walker today but it was broken and also not the one I ordered! Have been calling their number this afternoon but it either rings out or is engaged ! Have you had any joy getting through since Saturday?
  • Ah ParcelFarce. I do not use them as it can take ages to get the parcel through
  • I work for precious little one in Grantham and can absolutely guarantee that we use parcel force DAILY. They are here every week day to collect orders, unfortunately I appreciate that mistakes can sometimes be made but as a company we strive to deliver the best service possible. Our phone system has recently been replaced as the high volume of calls were causing people not to be able to get through to us. We are still live on the website because we are a reputable company and I am very sorry to hear that the people making previous posts had problems with their orders, If you have not yet been able to get through to us please reply to this post and I will PERSONALLY ensure that your problem is dealt with. Regards.

Why aren't emails being responded to then?
There's a storm coming, Mr Johnson. You and your friends better batten down the hatches, because when it hits, you're all gonna wonder how you ever thought you could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us.
  • The internet side of the business is closed until January the 2nd so if you have e-mailed over the past few days that will be why. If you would like to tell me your e-mail address I will trace them for you and do my best to resolve whatever issue you have myself. Regards
  • Makenzie,

I am trying to get hold of someone at Precious Little One for pricing info on a product you only sell in store. Is there a phone number for the showroom as your customer service department is closed.

Sorry to hijack the thread and I hope you all get sorted, FWIW my dealings with them so far have been good.

    Thanks in advance

    Phil
  • Hope that helped Phil :-)
  • I have to say I have had dreadful customer service from this company. We ordered a cot before christmas which was damaged, and the second one has just arrived and it was the same. I asked them to check it before it was sent and they said they would, but the level of packaging was woefully inadequate for an oak cot. I have had a nightmare getting through on the phone, being in a queue for ages each time. When I spoke to a manager about this she said it wasn't her fault if lots of people were ringing the company and they were busy. I would NEVER use this Precious Little One again.
  • I ordered a Hauck Trike through Precious Little One on 22nd Jan and the money was debited from my account on 24th Jan. I did receive an order confirmation email but no delivery tracking number so I'm not sure who the courier is. I have yet to receive the item or indeed any response to my emails. When I call I am placed in a lengthy queue which most times I have given up on. However I decided to stay in the queue today - for over an hour I waited to get to queue position 1 then the line went quiet and then dead. This company is useless. I have contacted Watchdog about them as after some internet research there are lots of other people unhappy with them as per various forums. This trike was for my son's first birthday at the end of Feb and I'm really upset that I'm going to have to go to the expense of getting another one to save disappointment. Can anyone else tell me if they have had any luck contacting this company or getting a response to their emails? I made an order from this website last week and only half was delivered.

There was no invoice/list of contents in the box and also no notification via email to confirm that part of the order was still outstanding.

I tried to call the customer services 0844 number and was holding for up to 20 minutes with not much movement in the queue.

Checked on say no to 0870 and found another number - - got straight through and it's not a premium rate number.

They were very helpful on the phone and assured me that they are aware part of my order is still outstanding and should be with me soon.

Fingers crossed! The items that did arrive are great and they were definitely the cheapest price online, but the customer service does make me reluctant to use them again.
