    To VickyA,
my prayers are with you tonight, I know from my own experience how frightening this sort of news can be but try to think of it as a warning. My two girls were as frightened as you are feeling 18 months ago, and I'm still here driving then dotty. Please PM me, as I will always be here to listen to anything you want to say, even if you want to rage about the injustice of things .Trust me I do actually know how bad you are feeling .
Today I went to have my 'flu jab as because of Chemo I will always have a low immune system. I was talking to the nurse and she said 'You seem to have coped with the cancer very well' and I replied 'It will take more than some bug to get me down' , 'I havn't time at my age to be ill I have far too much to do'
Which is true ,but it doesn't stop you from feeling frightened or scared. Trust me we all feel like that at first. I had my 'wobbly moment' and then I got over it, and got on with life .Your mum has had her warning, and God willing will get through the 1st December, and all the following weeks and months, with you beside her gee-ing her on and helping as she helped you when you were small. Do let me know if there is anything I can do to help.

Having been ther I do know how you both are feeling .
    God bless you both
