  • Boil/steam them then smash them up with butter. Or boil/steam them then mix in orange juice and honey with them. Mmmmmmm

Grate them and bung them in the freezer.

    Or make carrot cake?

    Carrot soup?

Perhaps travel cannot prevent bigotry. But by demonstrating that all people cry, laugh, eat, worry and die, it introduces the idea that if we try to understand each other, we may even become friends.

When I have a glut of carrots I cook them and then mash them (just like potatoes) and freeze in portions.

You will often see in supermarkets among ready-meals side dishes of carrot and swede mash or carrot and potato.... so basically I make my own, freeze them and then use as needed.

  • Chop them up and put them into bags and freeze them,so when you want a portion of carrots they are there. :-)

Carrot and corriandor soup? Roasted carrots?
