    no email addresses are case sensitive

    I have just phoned and they said the have "had a missive from the management" to say that they are aware that a lot of peopl have not had email and that if I dont get one today to check out the FSCS website in the morning!! Grrrr!!:mad:

    Thanks Suesie, this is quite literally turning into a joke! What are they going to put on the website and how is that going to help us? :confused:

    Edit: I rang them also and was smoothly fobbed off, and told that emails they are still going out at the moment, and to check spam of course and as you say if its not here by tomorrow morning there will be a further post on the FSCS website.....
  • Just wanted to say thank you to the people in this forum who made me find my email in my spam folder because I knew what to look for and when...
    Hopefully people will post when they get their second one so that I can fork through my spam again...
  • got my 1st email today (7/11) at 11:24am (to my hotmail account - phew it seems to be working for me at last!)

    I just tried a test email from an email account that I do not use, to the one that I do, and I changed to all uppercase and it still came through, so I don't think the capitals are an issue - still waiting .............

    What's the point of ringing them today when they have clearly stated:-

    "Any Icesave customers who do not receive their first email from FSCS by the close of business on Friday should contact FSCS on 0845 7300 131 (Icesave enquiries only)."

    Email addresses are not case sensitive and either upper or lower case or any mixture of the two will still work.
