You take that seriously do you when they choose to communicate on a vital matter by the insecure and unreliable means of email when they have all our postal addresses and when the amateur mailing house in Northumberland they used (https://www.hearfrom.com) managed to send its emails in such a way as to have the classified as spam by nearly all the major ISPs. It is very unusual for my spam filtering service to classify any legitimate email sender as a spammer. The reverse is normally the problem with spam getting through due to new and more devious techniques constantly invented by the spammers.

You should bear in mind that I sometimes don't check my spam box for a month and the FSCS is only allowing a month to go online and get the money back from Icesave from the time they send out their second email saying you can do so. If you fail that deadline it may take months more to get your money back and all the while you are being paid zero interest.

    Dave.

Yes, sorry, just found out the correct info.
This is an open forum, anyone can post and I just did !
  • I got my email Tuesday thank god! :)

You know as gutting as it is that I have lost out on interest, I am going to spend it when I get it because there doesnt seem much point in saving that much at the moment, and I think the economy needs it more than I do right now!
  • my email gives me a link that goes through to hearfrom.com

does anyone else's email have the www.hearfrom.com address in the email?
  • my email gives me a link that goes through to hearfrom.com

does anyone else's email have the www.hearfrom.com address in the email?

the hearfrom.com address appears in the "Return Path" "Message ID" and "X-Mailer" fields in the message headers but not in any part of the message body.

I suspect it is the mismatch between the Return Path and the From address domains amongst other things that have caused this message to be classed as spam by so many email spam filtering services.

I still reckon hearfrom.com is run by a nephew of a director of the FSCS given what a shocking hash up they have made have sending out these emails.
  • hearfrom.com and highford.com appear in all/most emails sent from NSSL operated online bank websites. The interest rate cut email from B&B today has the same email headers.
  • no 1st email for me yet

anyone using hotmail.co.uk for contact email addy that *has* received the 1st email?
(to rule out any hotmail based c*ckups...)
