Hi, first post so dont pick on me!
I have ignored 2 letters from CEL and have received a 3rd that is different to the templates I have seen. It is a letter stating that they have instructed solicitors to draft Particulars of Claim which they intend to submit to court in a couple of weeks.
It has attached a 2 page 'Claim Form' with the details of the claim and copies of the 2 letters I have had. I expect the advice I will get is to continue to ignore but reading somewhere that someone recently had their car towed is a little unnerving as I cant be bothered getting into that situation.0 -

Who is the letter from CEL?
Yes it is from CEL, the claim form isnt stamped and parts of it clearly have been scanned in. What is also interesting is that the 'copies' of the 2 letters that I have already received have been amended to show a higher penalty amount (the amount they are looking to claim from me now which totals £265)0 -
Can you post it up on something like Photobucket etc So we can a look. If u can private message me the link, because as a newbie u won't be able to post the link.
It's a very underhand way at scaring you into thinkin that are taking you to the small claims court( but you have nothing to worry about)Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -

Have sent you a copy - let me know what you think!0 -
Carry on ignoring unless you actually receive proper court-papers (which will be rarer than a purple moon)0

This is what he/she got. I would love to know how thier additional costs have gone up by that amount....
Also the letter doesnt make much sense with the reduced amount being the same as the amount they want!
as said in pm ignore unless you get real signed papers.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
Surely a case for Trading Standards.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0
