Good morning everyone. I didn't post yesterday because I didn't do much in the way of OS apart from a basic roast dinner followed by shop-bought cheesecake for pudding. Dinner tonight is the lamb curry we would have had on Friday if DH hadn't been so well fed at the army barracks he was working in! He had a huge breakfast and a huge evening meal; I just made myself a snack so that was a real money saving day!
WM is on and breakfast things cleared up. DH has gone to work so I just need to whiz through the house and then I have to go to the bank to pay in a nice healthy looking deposit cheque he picked up for a job he'll be doing later this week. So far, touch wood, his work is nice and steady. If I do go back to my old job, after my two weeks covering reception there in November, it will help a lot if his work takes a dip.
(((Hugs))) to everyone who is unwell or worried.
My 'thanks' button seems to be working again and, if this posts with line-spacing, many thanks to Troo for the advice! It's the first time I've posted since your pm!

Morning :hello:
Welcome Scared1980 :hello:
Glad (Long time no speak! And I miss the funny emails. lol) Is your house still OK this morning?
Taplady, did you feel the earthquake?
The troos are all getting on my nerves, I can't wait til they're all out of the house today.
I want to take the glass out of the greenhouse today. Every time mr troo has a day off, it rains. So I'm going to sort the garden out by myself, starting with the greenhouses. There's a huge bush I want to remove to make way for the raspberry canes I bought last week.
Not much going on in the house today, might do a bit of baking but that's it.
Edited to say -
Mioliere, I've been waiting for you to post, to see if it workedI am a coffee bean0 -
Morning all
What an exhausting weekend it's been, I had DGD & DGS on Saturday & Sunday. It rained all day Sunday so I put DGD in her buggy & DGS in his wellys & coat & walked them to the local Tesco & back, it's only about a mile & half each way, but up hill all the way there. DGS did the walk without any complaints, they were both very good, but I'm getting too old to do it too many days on the trot.
I didn't manage to do a Sunday roast, instead the kids had tuna pasta bake & hubby had pork chop & mash. DGS & I also make some buscuits for him to take home. DD got to the new house to find that the cooker had gone, it was a fitted one so now she has a hole in the worktop & only a microwave to cook with. I have Jerk chicken & beef casserole cooking as we speak & will take then round for her later.
Hugs to Smokey, Snowey, Mrs Mix, Candy & anyone else in need.
Glad hope the tree gets sorted soon.
Ladygrim, love the 'floordrobe' I've got one of those too.
Hugs Hester

Morning all, didnt get to post yesterday as DH was not too well. We headed off the bootsale as usual and as we were leaving he was complaining of feeling lousy, we had a bit of a scare a couple of years ago when he underwent tests for his heart, but everything came back fine. It was diagnosed as panic attacks and he was on medication for about 6 months.
We just had a quiet day in the house and he seems ok this morning, i think he has been doing too much, what with the house and working overtime too.
I am sitting here with my hair colour on waiting for that to develop, and have got WM going and yesterdays washing on airer.
Lunch will be pasta, bacon, mushrooms in cheese sauce.
Have a good day everyone and ((((HUGS)))) to all who need them, BSB xx0
