OS Daily 27th October

Hi, this is the OS Daily thread for Monday 27th October . It is an 'over the garden fence' type thread where we chat about everything OS and maybe a little bit more. It’s a great, inspiring and motivating thread we start each day to discuss what we’re going to do today or what we’ve achieved already. Everyone’s welcome, please do come in, put your feet up (although check the fence hasn’t just been painted first!) and join us for an OS natter. The more the merrier!
When you make a post, if you feel like giving it a title, that will help others that don’t have the time to read everything skim through the thread quickly but if not it's not a problem, we’re a laid back bunch here so you won’t hear any complaints. Please do not start a new daily thread before you go to bed at night because this often leaves things confusing with two daily threads live at the same time. The idea is that a member would start each new daily thread after they get up in the morning.
Some people who chat here like to try to answer everyone. Don’t feel you have to though, a general “Hi everyone, hope you are all well” type start does just as well.

Morning!
Its really cold this morning.
Going to whip around the house, and then get out and go swimming I think,
Hopeing and praying the phone will ring with an offer for the house today from one of the viewers at the weekend, who will be nice and not mess around.
Pawpurrs x ;)

Morning Pawpurrs - enjoy your swim.

Up early as want to get my life in order - small steps and all that.

Got work 8-1 (lovely new shifts :D:D ), then joining in with Flylady this week. Also need to visit allotment in next couple of days to see how potatoes and cabbages are doing.

Hubby having mid-week break to use up some leave, so will encourage him to help me sort out [STRIKE] the dump [/STRIKE] spare room. There will be 3 piles, attic, charity and bin. Wonder which one will be the biggest :o .

Oh and I have to also sort out my floordrobe to see whats going to charity from there.

High hopes for this week. Will let you know how I get on.

(((((HUGS))))) to thoes in need. Off for a cuppa.

    Good Morning All

Nice to get up with a little bit of daylight again.

Nothing special planned today. Office work this morning, some washing and some cleaning. Have loads of ironing to do but that may be left for today.

Couple of errands to run - bank and library but luckily they are in the same village. Need to go out with OH this afternoon as have to drop a van off for some work to be done.

So all in all a not very exciting day - hope to get loads done so can enjoy the rest of the week a little more.

Leftover chicken with rice for dinner.

Good morning pawpurrs and ladygrim, and all who follow (or i cross with!!)

Glad - hope the tree didnt do any more damage in the night!!!

Snowy - Hope Dylans meds arrive soon, and he and you had a good night xxx

Today, i have a day off, even though i dont really (i know that sounds silly, but i am working, i just dont have any children here, other than my own, to look after!!!!) so although we have no money, im taking the opportunity to do something with my children (Its half term). DS noticed in his footie mag that there is a 'Match Attack' tour, and today it is in Plymouth - so we are able to go - i have no idea what happens, but he is excited and really looking forward to it. I thought we could then give my credit card a bashing, and go to see HSM3 at the cinema - we will be taking a HM lunch, and our own snacks (we will sneak those in) but our only cinema is a Vue, and it is so expensive just to watch the film, i cant afford their snacks as well! So hopefully, this will mean i have 2 very happy children today.

Nothing much else happening, and probably nothing OS at all as we will be out most of the day - Nels, we enjoyed our M&S meal deal and you are right, they dont have many roasties in a pack - also one of them had a horrible big black bit in it, so today i will be taking it back, not sure what M&Ss returns policy is, but hoping they will either replace it, or give me my money back - maybe even both!!!

OK, need to get on, clicks to do before my 2 surface!!!

Hope everyone has a lovely day,
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Might nip into town later as I've got some vouchers I can spend and it'll give the kids a bit of fresh air.Its been a horrid weekend here so not much chance for getting out and about

I'm determined to get my fruit soaking in whisky today to start making my xmas cakes tomorrow and I've got some sewing to do.I hate sewing and tend to put it off until the very last moment

Glad I cant believe a tree fell on your house!Hope everything starts to get sorted today

    Morning all

Pawpurrs, hope the phone rings for you

Well, we had a good moneysaving weekend, went to Ikea, and apart from a cabinet I needed for my 'shop', all I bought was a candle and a clothes arier on a pulley - it is for inthe conservatory so I can dry my washing in there and save using the TD :T

It is so nice to be in daylight again, so won't have to take torch when I take the dog out.

Not sure what's for dinner, but have plenty in the freezer, so we wonb't starve :D

    Catch you all later x

    Morning :D

I cooked shepherds pie, cheesy mash, leek and pot soup, enough mince for lasagne and for filled yorkshires and also did a fridge cake :D (which made it in to portions before I ate most of it :p).

Also went shopping and have gone about £3 over GC but have got plenty to last til Friday so shouldn't have to spend anymore this month :T

I've got one emotional DD who is still feeling under the weather and one who is creating about going to the childminders

OS wise .... don't think I'm doing anything OS today :o

Hope everyone has a great day and huge big (((HUGS))) to all those who want/need them.

  • Morning everyone....

Hope its ok to join in...

I find it really hard to find time to keep up with the OS stuff... but I am trying :o

i don't work Mondays, so am hoping that my 2 DDs are going to be good and help mummy do some flying (what do you reckon the chances are???).

DP has got his dentist appoitnment at 5pm today so he will be home earlier than normal today... will chuck the chicken in the oven and have the roast we didn't have yesterday! (and I will do my best to be stingy so OH can have chicken sandwiches for work for at least 2 days )

I hope everyone is well and I will try to make more effort to post....

Take care everyone and again I hope you don't mind me barging in!!!
