Hi,
Probably wasn't even worth bothering in the first place............

I feel such a fool... I got duped by the slick website... and it was slick...
I went on... read the info, filled in my details... they then flash up the webpage "GREAT NEWS, YOU QUALIFY FOR OUR SPECIAL TRIAL OFFER!" so I then input my debot card information and think nothing of it...
Then... the penny slowly starts to drop when I get no email confirmation and then no package arrives either... of course they've taken my money for the first installment... So I cancel my Debit Card - thinking the new 16 digit and new valid from and valid to plus new CCV info will keep my details safe and secure.... erm... NO! According to Mr Card Cancelling chap, if they have the first 12 digits of your debit card they can keep taking payments...
I could not believe it! Not only have I bought goods that haven't arrived, I've also given my details to some nasty ******* who can keep debiting my account... Luckily for me I called my Bank (Barclays) and after being sent round the houses a few times by some Customer Services advisors (who had no idea what to do!) I managed to talk to a lady who was able to give me all the info I needed...
1. Cancel card - (which I'd done)
2. Fill out fraud form.
3. Close account
4. Open new account
This is necessary for complete peace of mind. I'm going in tomorrow to close my account and open a new one immediately that way the 16 digit number will be linked to the new account - which the nasty ******** who have my old details won't be able to debit.
Yes, its a pain in the neck. But necessary. How these scammers can live with themselves...
Plus... a word of warning... I went to a Barclays cash machine last thursday (day before good friday) and in my usual way I huddled over the machine to be secure when entering my PIN. But in moving into the 'hole in the wall' I knocked off the scammers Camera which was painted in the same Blue as the Barclays Cash Machine Blue Frame that sticks out... they also had a card reader securely placed over the card entry point...
I've only seen these things on TV - never in real life... but check the inside of the Frame of every cash machine... they're jammy ******** in the way they try to get our info...
Be careful all....

Hi everyone I've been reading the post and luckily I did tonight. I placed my order on the 10th I think and they charged me $24.95 US/£17.75 for P&P. So I just happened to be on their site tonight to try to cancel as there was an opt out button when I first signed up. Live Chat was available and while I was waiting to connect, I googled the berries and came up with this web site. Oh how I wished I had the sense to google this before. Anyway I cancelled right away and was told that I would still be charged the US$54/64. I said to the person no way am I paying for something I have not received yet. She said I am paying for the first shipment! I haven't even received my free trial yet! Which she said will come in 3-4 days. So I cancelled my credit card right away and I was told by BarclayCard that they would not be able to take anymore monies from my account. I am seeing so many posts with people having problems from money taken from their account using a debit card. I am just wondering if I will be ok seeing that I used a credit card? Would they still be able to take money from my account. Sorry I just needed to ask.
Also can't beleive that this scam has been going on for so long. I wish that there were programmes on tele to warn you about these things. Although yes I know it is initially from my own stupidity!0 -
Also if I refuse the delivery, if it comes would that mean that I won't have to pay to ship it back. I could say that there is no one here by that name or something like that right?0

This whole acaiberry thing has i'm sorry to say happened to me too and i think your Bank are wrong in what they say. When they issue a new card, the 16 digit number across the front is different from your old card, also you should have a 3 digit security code on the back which is also different. So how can they say that money may still come off, if this thieving company have your old card details, which will not match the new card details they have logged for you in their system against your bank details. I'd ring back and speak to someone else as the person you spoke to obviously didn't know what they were talking about. Ask to be put through to their fraud department, if you didn't do so last time. Make sure you tell them you don't care what their policy is that you want a new card, be persistent and pushy, don't let them tell you, its your account and your money that's being stolen from you, its not being stolen from them. Good luck0 -
The ONLY way to stop the card (debit) is to say the card was stolen of you. This forces a new 16 digit number0

don't fall for these types of scams. I have researched the market, there are over 20 companies that are doing the same thing: SCAMMING. I decided to put an end to this. Read on my site about acai berry scams who are these jerks: acai-berry-scams.net0

Ive been scammed by these so called people. i have received a cancellation number from them and i called my bank to block/cancel all payments to them. The bank have told me though, if they take any funds out of the account in the next 15days, we will lose it and the bank can't claim it back either!! Even though it has been cancelled with them today. I tried to cancel the card, but they cant do that either........... as funds will still go out of the account. I never thought i'd be conned by a scam, but i have well and truly.
So all i can do now is hope they don't wipe out the account within the next 15days and see what happens after that.
If any of you know different, i'd be much appreciated for info.
Thanks and please don't take anything out with this company Pure Cleanse Pro.
The banks know its a scam and still they do nothing!!!!!

Wow - with all these acai scams out there, it's lucky that you're able to recommend a product selling for only $50 a bottle! I don't like my berries with :spam: though.0
